first cycle - advice with cardio was created by AJAY
Hi guys
well after reading this site for over a year and getting all my info from the forum . . .
I eventually took the plunge
, left the oral & went for the injectable's:P !!!
i must admit i was rather nervous about the whole needle thing, but a mate of mine who has used b4 is doing it for me and it has been a breeze. I had 6th one last nyt and dont feel it anymore -
my first cycle . . . once a week 1ml test & 1ml equipoise taken together for a 10 week cycle. I have seen a VERY SLIGHT increase in strength but after being on it for 4 weeks, at my monthly weigh-in i only picked up 400gr, lost 1cm on chest and 1cm on arms
!!! I lost 0.5cm on waist
the little flab i have there, so thats cool.
BUT!!! my question and advice i seek is am i doing TOO MUCH Cardio if i am doing a 45min Bootcamp type exercise 3 times a week as well as running once a week doing 4-5km's?????
i have decided to cut the 3 days BC out . .. i have also increased my food portions the past 10 days since weigh in. as to my knowledge too much cardio will break down the muscle - correct??? altho i am looking a little leaner!!!
quick specs for those that wanna comment. 41 years old, training 3 years with personal trainer, weigh 84kg's, BF on scale 14% calipers 21%, train 5 times per week, 5 -6 meals a day, whey protein shake 3 times a day.
any advice/ pointers wuld be appreciated!! i have started week 6 now with inject. . . when shuld i start my PCT and what OPTIONS shuld i use for SECOND CYCLE and when shuld i start that?
Thanks

i think what u need to do is cut down the cardio, and increase your calorie intake,to much cardio, not enough food can force u into over training,at the end of the day cortisol levels rise very fast when you are over training. i think u need to cut the cardio down to 3 times a week for now,and then get your diet sorted out before you get on your next cycle, get the bf down to about 10%,it can be done easily!

hey DJ
how u doing bud? long time no chat?? my trainer wasnt to keen on that ketosis thing u suggest a few months ago - hehe!! so i left it.
my diet is sorted in the sense of WHAT i shuld be eating, its just that i have increase the portions as i think i myt not be getting enough with the days that i am training and doing BC on the same day!! u say cardio 3 times a week, but thats what i am doing with the BC . . shouldnt i cut the BC out completely and stick to doing 2 x 5km runs a week maybe as my cardio?
gee i have been trying for a long time to get the bf down . . . if i gave u a copy of my current meal plan, my training programme (bulking) and u know what i am on now, would u maybe look at my meal plan and see if i need to change anything? if so what would u charge me for a new meal plan to go with my program and what i am taking juice wise?
thanks dude

Why do you listen to what your trainer says? Most trainers I know have next to no knowledge what so ever on diet / nutrition, etc.
Does your trainer look ripped and muscular ?
If the answer is no, find another trainer. Let them worry about the way you train and let a dietitian worry about what you eat.
I don't go for advice to a banker if I have trouble in my relationship. I think it's time you give him a mail and get onto the keto diet, I can provide you with allot of information stating how healthy it is.
Yes people with kidney function like mine isn't the best idea to limit carbs that to that point. However, if it's not working the way it is with the trainer it's time you explore other possibilities.

Thats great, as long as you achieving results and you can honestly say you putting 90% in.
Just like you need to modify training so do you need to modify diet. So you need to work with DJ and speak to him twice a month to see where things need alterations.
However all his work will be of no use if you not being 90% focused. Yes being 100% focused would be the best way to handle this however, thats close to impossible.
