Hi
I am thinking of starting a course, been gyming for about 3 years on and off but been big into it recently the last year, feeling good.
I am 1.93m tall and weight 103kg's, I am trying to get a good overall shape to my body, increase strength, and loose my stomach I am currently using just whey protein and eating right.
What sort of roids should I start with as a beginner and also what is the avergage sort of prices I should budget in?I am also keen on taking it orally for now, but worried about the side effects that so many people say you get.I have spoken to many guys at gym about what to take, but get all sorts of advice from every person
Apologise for my ignorance, I have been reading the website too to find out more

Thanks

Hey bud.
welcome to the forum!

Best advice that i can give you right now is this:

1. RESEARCH
2. RESEARCH
3. RESEARCH

Oral only cycles are not the way to go. If you're really keen to do a cycle, it should be a testosterone ONLY cycle.

Check out a sticky entitled 'what a 1st cycle should look like - this will help you tremendously.

Oh - check out the forum rules too - prices are not discussed, neither are sources...

Ill wait for the vets to chime in...

Good luck

Peace...

Hey DJ

Thanks, my diet currently.....

Wake up - whey protein shake, oats and 5 egg whites
Mid Morning - Pilchards or egg whites or fat free cotage cheese on rye bread
Luch - either brown rice & tuna or skinless chicken breast
Mid Afternoon - whey protein shake
Dinner - either fish with veg or chicken of some sort, normally a breast

Dinner is normally the most difficult to stick to as I stay with the Mrs and my eating plan doesnt always go down well with her
On the weekends I tend to "cheat" a bit but still control what I eat

and when do you train ?
what do you use for pre-and post-workout ?
try getting lots of carbs before workout ..
lots of protein after workout and good carbs like bananas and avo's to get those aminos to ur muscles....

Oh look ....... EGGS ....

Sorry, not meaning to thread jack...
DJ...so mealie meal is fine? It is a good idea to eat some good ole pap in the mornings for your carbs? Is its GI lower or higher than oats?

Is it true that I should not eat carbs at night, especially is I want to flatten and harden my stomach? Really battling in that department, I usually do another half an hour of cardio after ive hit the weights and do abs reguarly.

DJ would be better to answer this however, I find if you want to get ripped, limit carbs after 5 and rather stick to mix veggies and a solid portion of protein.

funny enough u can have carbs all the way up to the time u sleep but i wouldnt suggest it personally, look i think the fact that u are not loosing the belly comes from a couple things,i personally think you are starving the body, leptin levels are low and the body is holding on to all the fatty tissue, the food choices are wrong, not enough proteins not enough good fats....

Dude, it's like asking a computer guy to explain whats wrong on your network, you need to know the ins and outs to be able to properly understand things. You have learnt things but mainly bad things that have lead you astray.

TRUST ME WHEN I SAY THIS... Spend the few bucks and get a diet suited for yourself that DJ will adjust as time goes on. You cannot use the same diet today as you would in 3 months time. As you body fat adjusts so will your diet and depending on energy levels different things will be included or removed.

You will not find a diet for the price you will get it from DJ. I have focused on nutrition for close on 10 years now and will still ask him to read over anything I am thinking of doing. Spend the couple rand and achieve your results or else you will be having this problem 5 years down the line.

The same is true with many people I know who use steroids, they use steroids but they never look different, mainly because of life style choices and lack of information when it comes to eating.

Yes a steroid novice with a fast metabolism can nearly consume what ever he wants and stay ripped and put on size. However as we get older our bodies become slow and our life style changes, it's so much easier to go buy a coke from a shop when you stop for petrol than it was when you a child asking your parents if they will buy you one and hearing a plain no.

Some interesting info on mielie pap. If you let it cool down till its cold and warm it up in the microwave it lowers the GI. Please don't ask me how it works but it does indeed work.
