Beemer Cycle Log was created by beemer
Hi,

Thought I'd post my cycle log for those guys that are in the same weight category as myself. Was hoping to run a t-bol cycle but decided to keep it for next year. (Thanks to everyone who commented on my cycle post)

This is my first Prop/Anavar cycle and have been told it's a great summer cycle. I'm very excited so will try to be as detailed as possible for those considering doing a similiar cycle.

Pre-cycle Stats
weight - 73kg (target 78kg)
BF - 17% estimated (10-12% would be great

My cycle details:
wk 1-8 test prop (1ml EOD)
wk 3-10 anavar 50mg (will consider increasing midway)
wk 1-10 proviron 40 mg ((will consider increasing midway)

Pct 2. Clomid, nolva and hcg (although might run the HCG towards end of cycle until end of bridge)

Diet - I have a fairly fast metabolism so will be increasing my calories every week to get the most of the cycle, while monitoring fat levels. Starting off with 2500 calories.

Week 2 update
Increased calories to 2700 this week. I'm 10 days into my cycle and totally love TestProp. It kicks in much quicker than TestCyp and is a much easier solution to inject as well. I'm using the PGW brand so pinning is completely painless, which is great as I thought pinning EOD would be an issue. Strength gains have been phenominal (and so soon also!), but I'm lacking a bit of confidence in handling the heavier weights - wish I had a spotter. :(

I've also recently started injecting Vit B (B12 and complex) every 10 days which has improved my energy level, although considering changing this to weekly shots.

I'm training hard, eating well and making sure I get enough rest, as I'm really paranoid about getting sick. Physique wise, I feel bigger and am excited to weigh myself at end of this week :)

My Bf is in 17% region. I'm not sure of what my target % is but I know what I want to look like. The 10-12% is a gestimate. :)

Good luck bro! A simple cycle that just makes sense. You are going to see great results on it! Don't you think your target weight is a bit high for a fat smash cycle? If you lose for example 6kgs then you will have to gain 11kgs of muscle to meet your target. With regards to the B12 and B-Co every 10 days is underselling it in my opinion.

A very valid point indeed about the target weight, and will re-look at the logic behind it.
Also, thanks for reconfirming my suspicion that the B injections are too far apart. Will increase it to weekly shots.

Good luck for your cycle bud! Where do you inject the vit B? Does it need to be in the muscle or can you inject sub Q?

wk 2 update:

2 weeks into cycle and picked up 1.9kg, which I'm happy with.

Training wise, strength is still on the increase, although I think I hurt my left rear delt doing squats - damn virgin active spotter!
Even trained 6 times last week, using the extra day to give more attention to forearms, calves, abs and cardio. Struggling to do HITT training after weights especially on stepper. I'm in my chops after doing weights, so find it easier to cycle or walk on an incline.

Energy levels are good, and it seems the 8 hours sleep is paying off, especially the Sunday evenings and the evening before legs. Not looking forward to my Vit B injection tomorrow - left cheek seems to be more painful than the right cheek.

Starting the Anavar today and taking it every 8 hours. Eager to see what effect it will have on training and body. :)

Thanks for the update,

Is it beneficial to split the var up across the day? I assume its to keep levels stable.

Correct, atleast that's what I've read. I also take it on an empty stomach for quicker absorption - not sure if it makes a difference.

wk 4 update:

Picked up another 2kgs (4 kgs in 4 wks). Have started leaning and hardening out the past week - must be the anavar kicking in compled with the diet changes (carbs for breakfast and around training only) and increased cardio. May have to make some further changes in the coming weeks to get rid of the stubborn abdominal fat. It's amazing how anabolic anavar keeps you, although eager to see the end result in comparison to winny.

Strength is still on the increase and recovery is great also.

No major sides besides the aching calves but nothing that I can't train through. Haven't experienced any apetite suppression as mentioned on other threads. Regarding test levels, they don't seem to be as high as when I was on testcyp - perhaps due to the more frequent pinning? I'm not the same sex maniac, but definitely prefer the prop over the cyp.

Hi,

I'd thought I'd upload some before and after pics. I started at about 73kgs, went up to about 78kg and am currently at 76.5kg.

The only change I made to the cycle was to increase the anavar from 50mg to 70mg half way through, and introduce a fat burner about the same time. I didn't reach my target weight as everyone suspected but am extremely happy with my gains.

Just some questions:

1. Is my progress acceptable?
2. Estimated fat % before and after please
3. I am currently consuming about 200 calories below maintenance (47% prot, 34% carbs, 19% fat). Should I maintain this into PCT?
4. My cardio have been very intense during cycle. Do I reduce the intensity, as I don't want to loose my gains?

Eager for comments

Thanks

For the b12, glute injections work great for me intramuscular.

looking good, but honestly, i think the intensity of your program was lacking a little. I have seem a more defined result from the cycle you did, but yes, looking good !

Hate me, love me, but that's my opinion !

Very true..

Stay positive and keep at it. Up the intensity of your sessions. If you not half dead after a session, you missed it..
