Water retention in ankles was created by Safehouse
Background info:

1st cycle, test c @ 500mg/wk, frontloaded with dbol @ 40md p.d. for first 25 days. HCG @ 250iu 2 x p.w. from Week 5.

Beginning Week 10 today. From late week 8 I had some minor swelling in my ankles. Took a break from training for week 9 as I had to go away. Could not stick to training diet but tried to eat as sensibly as possible. Water intake was less than usual. From beginning week 9 (break week) my ankles started swelling up and my feet and lower legs, and not just a little, but a lot in my opinion.

They look similar to this, taken from msmans thread, but without redness or itching:

So, is this normal? I didn't bloat much on dbol so why now at this point in the cycle? Could it be linked to me not training or being on proper diet? Anything I should do?

Only other recent sides are a few pimples on my back.

I'm back in the gym and on diet from today.

It's probably from really high estrogen levels

If you got adex(LP), take 5 drops in 50ml water 3 times a week (mon, wed, fri) from there taper it down when sides are under control

Swelling went down overnight (didn't start Adex yet) and I dropped 3kg between yesterday morning and this morning. Should I leave Adex for now then?

Good news !

I would still recommend the dose suggested. You don t want it to flare up again ?

minimum i would use is Monday 5 drops, and Thursday 5 drops for 2 weeks. week 3 taper once (Wednesday) 5 drops and see.

I did not find adex harsh on my system at all, only slight libido loss.

Any other sides from high estrogen levels besides the water retention? Itchy nips? Problems with orgasms?

No other sides. Been paranoid about the nips so check them regularly.

Really swollen ankles like that has me worried. Even if they're improving. I'd still hit your AI bud. Rather be safe than gyno

Strange that the swelling seems to link directly to diet and training, as in the swelling went down after my first session back, and my weight returned to what it was before I took a break.

That's you and Oupa saying I should start AI vs pr0gr3s1v3 who says I shouldn't, all of whose opinion I value. I'll go with the odds of 2 vs 1 and start the AI tomorrow.

Like DJ said in a post, diet is very important in relation to hormonal levels. The decision is ultimately yours but gyno is irreversible so it isn't something I'd play with. I'd down half the aidex and then shnaarf the other half

yes diet plays a big role, if your diet is clean you generally have less estrogen related sides, water retention included.

Theres probably no harm in running your adex, its just that i believe in not using anything if the body doesnt require it. On the point of gyno- you will know when you get it, you would have to be really oblivious to look past the itchy and overly sensitive nipples and those are just the start where you can still easily combat it by starting an AI.

Yo progressive, just something that happened to me on my cycle. Very late on maybe in week 10 I started getting gyno in a nipple. No sides of elevated estrogen at all. Checked my nipple everyday. One day after a shower I noticed my nipple looked droopy and had already formed a tiny bb pellet size lump.. Looking back now I remember before the incident I was having very weak, unsatisfying orgasms. It should've alerted me at the time that estrogen levels were really high but hindsight is a mother isn' it ?

Sorry for the over share but you get what I'm saying

Thanx for the share, i have not heard of anyone getting lumps without getting either sensitive or itchy nipples before. Did you manage to get the lump away with your AI?
