Test Flu?

I'm currently in week 6 of my test E cycle, 500mg pw. I pinned 250mg on Sunday morning, and by the evening my throat had the usual feeling that tells me I'm getting sick. I woke up yesterday with a slightly sore throat, and had a very slight runny nose. This morning my throat feels better but my chest feels a little tight and I've coughed once or twice.

Could this just be a bit of "test flu" or am I getting properly sick? I didn't train on Sunday or yesterday due to the symptoms to see if they would pass. I think I will train tonight and see how I feel going forward.

Your sore throat is probably due to nasal drip if it cleared later that day. Unless you also snore like a mofo lol. Get some vitamin C.

I would consider the doc for antibiotics otherwise it could get worse and then mess with your cycle ...vit c for prevention but once u have its a bitch to get rid of without antibiotics...

I take 2000mg of vit C every day regardless. Feel a lot better today actually. Will see how the day goes.

I had a bacterial throat infection about 3 weeks before starting this cycle and hit some antibiotics from the second day that the symptoms showed, knocked it out in 5 days. Might have to do the same again now

Did u take probiotics with or after ?

The Antibiotics give you the shits for sure. No way around that. Augmentin BD has a twice/day schedule.
Have them eg 6 am/6 pm - Have the Probiotics more around midday and before bed.
You will still get the shits though. At least it helps a bit even with them getting whacked twice/day.

I took probiotics during and after the antibiotics (Klarithran MR).

I've always take a probiotic with antibiotics and have never had the shits from Augmentin or the Klarithran that I was on the last time.

Vitamin C is very important please don´t forget it! haha Odds are 100:1 your throat infection is back. Problem wtih 5 day courses is that they kill 99% of the bacteria, but that 1% that remains will breed again and it will be back.

shouldnt /wont clash with your cycle ..just rest till u feel better...

OP i got the same thing yesterday, and im not on cycle... Its because its winter bro... and im guessing youre in Cape Town...

Flu-like symptoms after a pin are experienced by some people, but I'm getting proper sick this time

So many guys I know of that are on cycle are getting or have flu. I go for my annual flu shot every march/april. Its not 100% guaranteed you won't get flu, but I haven't had a bad bout of flu in two years... 100 bucks well spent. All the best with your cycle...

Sounds like you have a cold. If you had the flu you would know all about it. Corenza C and sleep is what you need. Don't take antibiotics as they do nothing for a viral infection. They are for killing bacteria.

I agree with you, it's not the flu. I just hate self medicating because I usually end up being sick for 2-3 weeks when I do. I'll take your advice and dose up on some corenza and take a few days off to recover.

You can add acc100 to that. Will dry up the nasal drip...

With medication your flu will take seven days to heal without meds a week.

Go to the doc, get booked off this week, get your meds and stay in bed (sleep as much as possible)
