What is the preferable resting time between cycles?

Also, I know that some people use a shitload of gear and this might need longer resting period.

If one was on test vs someone someone that was on test and deca etc, what is the recommended resting periods for these regimens?

Also, stupid question, why would one need a rest?

Would it be a wise (or not so wise) idea that given the bridging period is past and you are supposed to start with PCT, you start with test again? Obviously starting with HCG etc?

Time on + PCT = Time off. When you are done with PCT, your hormone levels are not back to normal yet. Blood tests might show otherwise but that is because the test is done too soon after PCT. There will be a dip before everything balances out in most men.

You need to let your body regain homeostasis and operate as normal for a while before going back on or you drastically increase the chances of permanently damaging your HPTA and ending up with lower levels of testosterone or other hormonal problems. There is also the increased blood pressure and strain on your prostate and other organs that you need to rest from.

This way you can do 2 or 3 decent cycles a year and consistently grow and have a great physique within a few years. An exception is if you are dead certain that you have what it takes to go far in competing, and are willing to sacrifice some health risks. Then you will have to take shorter breaks and hit HGH and other stuff when off. Quite honestly the guys who are winning competitions don't come off, but they accept the risks.

Thanks MA.

Okay, so if you take hcg, would that reduce your resting time? I was on test en for 10 weeks and should start with PCT soon. However, I was thinking of maybe putting another 10 weeks of test with hcg throughout and then PCT and lean out for Dec.

However, this is not adviseable if I read your post.

Would you suggest that I do full PCT now and only do cycle again in 4 months? I am just enquiring as I dont want to make stupid mistakes etc.

What would be the best way to follow?

Finish off your cycle properly with required time. You can always run Impa with CJC till December...... (just an idea) Start 2014 with short ester cycles, perfect timing and schedule 3 proper cycles per year. Grow like a mofo ;)

Dude you can not run pct meds like hcg that boosts natural testosterone production together with an indigenous testosterone that shuts down your natural testosterone production.

You need to let your hormones return to normal like MA said.

You need to take of the the same amount of time that you ran your cycle, bridge and pct. 10weeks + the bridge time + pct time. After that you can hit a cycle again.

The longer you are on, the longer it takes to recover and you can end up in a situation where you are you are off so long to sort out your hormones and recover that you lose way too much muscle. The alternative is you get sick of waiting, jump back on cycle and just delay the inevitable or worsen your chances of fully restoring your hpta.

I've not always followed my own advice. About 4 years ago I was 'on' for over a year straight and recovery was KAK. I was on HCG throughout as well doing 1 month on HCG, one off. Never again. Best to keep cycles shorter. But if your dream is to go far in competing abd you know you have the genetics, well then different story.

Just to add and not sound to stupid:D remember that the reason why people run hcg through a cycle is so that your LH is not completely shut down and in turn keeps your balls from shrinking:p

Thanks guys. Much appreciated.

Plan for now is to do full PCT with HCG (did not do with cycle, did not know I should, will start with new cycle in Jan "and grow like a mofo" as Oupa puts it. Will do naturally, and then from Sept-end Nov do cutting with Clen and Yohimbine to get BF down to single digits.

Aim now is to eat correct, still fuel muscles with enough protein, but to cut some carbs etc to starting to lean out slightly.

Will post my diet soon, thanks again for all the advice!

Oupa I can't remember exact doses but pretty sure it was dbol, test, eq, winny, masteron, and deca over about 15 months of blasting and cruising. Not all at once of course haha. No tren.
