First cycle help + Doctari PCT

Hi guys,

I am glad to have found the site. I am a novice wanting to try AAS for the first time. I used to be a pharmacist and now a medical student in the US. One thing that drew me to the site is Doctari's PCT which to me is the most make sense based on what I learned from school about half-life of the steroids.

My background: I am 35'-year old 5'5 Asian male (super ectomorph and hardgainer). I have been training for 12 years now and my normal body weight used to be around 110-120 lbs and I have since maintained about 130-140 lbs. I have never wanted to get too big. Bf around 10%. Now, I'd like to step it up to the next level and get bigger. My decision to try this is probably to overcome my genetics since both of my parents are tiny. I hope to reach maybe 160-lb someday with < 10% bf.

My medical history: Thyroidectomy (i.e. I have no thyroid) and now on Levothyroxine 212.5 mcg daily as a replacement therapy.

Current supplement: Eurycoma, Citrulline, Beta-Alanine, Agmatine

Diet: around 3200 cals/day.

After consulting with my trainer, we both agree to start with a simple cycle.

Please criticize and recommend as you guys see fit. Thanks!!

Week 1-12: Test. Propionate 150 mg EOD (I don't mind injecting)
Week 8-14: Anavar 50 mg daily
Week 2-14: 250 IU hCG 2x/week
Week 1-14: Arimidex 0.25 mg eod
Week 15: start PCT


Now, the tricky part is the PCT. Despite a simple cycle, my trainer and I thought that PCT#1 and PCT#2 both lack aromatase inhibitors and therefore leaning towards PCT#3.

So, the question is since I have used hCG during the cycle, how do I modify PCT#3? In addition, I don't think I can get Ovidrel here. So, I have to use hCG.

If you are using HCG on cycle then you don't need it during PCT. You can then take your aromasin EOD instead of every day because most of the estrogen you are trying to control with PCT #3 is from aromatization caused by HCG/Ovidrel.

I thought that I read that somewhere as well that if you use the hCG on cycle, then you don't need to use it during PCT. But, do you think 250 IU 2x/week on-cycle is adequate? and I plan to start it very early like week 2.

I guess we don't know why the protocol uses Aromasin but I heard Aromasin kills your libido. Have you heard about this? I guess I can't substitute this with Arimidex.

The cycle itself looks okay?

Yes, that is enough HCG.

All aromatase inhibitors can kill your libido if you take too much. As for why aromasin is better for PCT:

-tamoxifen decreases the effectiveness of letrozole and arimidex when taken together. Aromasin doesn't have this problem.
-aromasin is a suicide aromatase inhibitor which permanently disables the aromatase enzymes it binds to, whereas letro and adex only temporarily block them which results in a rebound elevation of estrogen when you stop taking it.

Your cycle looks fine if you don't mind injecting so much. If you haven't used test prop before you might be in for a surprise with the post injection pain. Not everyone suffers from that though.
