Milk Tristle question for cycle was created by Steenkamp

Hi Guys, got Milk thistle from dischem Midrand Saturday, now my gym partner told me not to use it on cycle only after, he totally confused me, and cant find anything on the forum,

Running basically sample cycle -8 from the 1st of march

Was thinking of starting the milk thistle this week,

Take the Milk Thistle. It's a good supplements to use while on cycle for added liver support. Nothing wrong with using it while taking juice.

The jury is out on this one. I wouldn't use milk thistle on cycle. Essentiale/Cruciale is plenty enough.

@Piro, is it because of down regulating receptors or whats the reason? if i need to get essentiale before next week ill get it,

When it hurts... That's when i start counting, because that's when it starts to count.

Two reasons:
1) There was a study that showed that milk thistle affects the androgen receptors which might hinder gains.
2) There is a theory that because of the way in which milk thistle works in the liver, it could clear out some of the orals in your system.

It is important to note that these are not definitive and there is a chance that in the future there will be a better study to light the way. But for now, there is no reason to risk it, there are other options just as good. Just my opinion.

Yeah Milk Thistle and Essentiale/Cruciale 2 weeks before cycle, E/C during the cycle and then MT and E/C till two weeks into PCT or longer if necessary.

I use the double strength. 1 in the morning one in the evening and my blood work has shown that it has a far better effect on my liver than anything else I've used has.

Yep as pyro said, cruciale is a good bet on cycle. I would leave the milk thistle for after cycle. I also read up somewhere that milk thistle will hinder your gains. I am currently using cruciale, picked it up at clicks, R140 for 100 caps.
