Drop Cals to around 2100. Keep fats low.
Cheat 1 Day.
3 weeks will show you where to go from there.
Just make sure you keep to the schedule.
Don't drink!

To be honest, i like what jackrabbit is saying, how ever inwould keep calories to 2400 and up the cardio to 40mins 6x a week and cut weights back to a 2 days on 1 day off strategy, i wouldn't start with a full day cheat day, i wpuld start on 2 meals with about 200g of carbs per meal.

The goal of any cutting cycle is to maintain muscle and to cut body fat, rather increase your energy expenditure on those days you train, but also give yourself alot more time to recover.

Remember that you want to allow your body to recover whilst consuming less calories.

If your strength starts to drop massively you arent eating enough or recovering enough or simply over doing it.

I see it time and time again with athletes prepping for shows. They drop massive strength and muscle from not focussing on retaining their strength.

If you start going from 50kg dumbells to 35kg dumbells its showing you that things are way too low or you are over taxing yourself. And this happens even when on gear.

Body fat is down 1% so far after 1 week but strength is down as well I am finding the cardio after lifting to be a bit easier have averaged 2500 Cal's per day over the last week and am on a 3 days on 1 day off split energy levels are good but sleep not too good wake up 2 to 3 times during the night

Then you are most likely not recovering well enough on the 3 on 1 off. Get some magnesium, take that prior to bed, cut your training to 2 on 1 off. Are you waking up to urinate or not sleeping solidly?

First time wake up is to urinate usually about 2am then about an hour later as well sleep has never been good 20 years of nightshift and standby wrecked my sleeping patterns totally.
Have tried GABA with no effect and sleeping tablet does work usually will take on a Friday and Saturday night to at least get two nights a week of solid 8 hours
