Nate's New Cycle for 2019 was created by Nate40
Hey guys,

It has been a while. I put my head down and shut the hell up as some of you advised me to do in 2016. Years have passed and my life has changed dramatically.

Thank you for all the advice and positive feedback over the years. Believe me that even the advice to stop talking and just gym was important to hear.
I felt it was time to rejoin the forum actively and so here I am.

I am now 46 and proud to say I'm in the best shape of my life. I am three months away from starting my 10th cycle and completed my last PCT in November last year. My body fat is a bit high at 13% but hoping to burn it off over the next few months before the start.

Hope you guys are well. Looking forward to discussing the new cycle.

Nate

Today I will do what I never thought possible!

Welcome back..

How's your bloods looking at 46? When you looking at going on a cycle and what you looking at running. How you finding the shift from your stopping through PCT and then training naturally, that always interests me.

Any medical issues of late or all good your side?

Thanks Pump, Oupa and Muscleaddict. I appreciate that guys.

Pump I'll be honest I've never done any bloodwork. I know I should do that at some point.
In terms of the next cycle, my goal was to start a new bulking cycle in September for 6 months or so, but haven't created a final calendar yet. Considering another test/equi cycle again as that has worked for me in the past.

Obviously after all these cycles, the temptation is tren and although it is clear that is the best option ultimately, the fact is I've seen it mess with the heads of two mates so it still makes me nervous.

Post PCT training is always difficult for me. Some mornings it is pretty difficult to get out of bed.
But I have a stretching routine in the morning which helps the body get going a bit.

Otherwise my health is okay. No serious issues. I have had what I think is low blood sugar but tested myself for diabetes and I seem fine.
I think it's because I have been intermittent fasting as well which has really helped by bodyfat percentage stay low. I do think I need to relook at my diet. Sometimes my refeeds turn into a bit of a binge.

I've noticed my joints hurt a bit more especially this time of year, but I gave improved my warm up routine a lot over the years.
I gave also suffered quite badly with hair loss but I accept that as part of the game.
Also my nads are tiny at this point which is a bit of a concern. They usually increase in size again after PCT but they have struggled the last year.

I want to get the BF% as low as possible this time before cycle which obviously becomes more difficult as I get older. Luckily the woman bought me a treadmill for Christmas but damn it's boring.

Power post.. I think with everything you saying below, from the balding to joints, shrinkage, energy, drive it might be a good idea to just get an idea of where your hormones are at. Yup the hair does grow out and the joints ache, but so does an imbalance, and yours might simply be low estrogen / low testosterone, not fully recovered from your PCT.

If you planning a 6 month cycle and you not interested in a comp I personally don't see the need for Tren. I actually have no idea how long I've been on gear now, during this cycle or whatever you want to call it, but I pretty much used Test and EQ, threw some Anavar in during it at some point and that's over now, but recent (as of my last pin), put 1 and a half mls of Masteron in me. Prefer playing it safe, low doses of things, EQ was a mi, so around 350mg, Test is around 400mg, when I did the Anavar I kept it at 40mg a day, the Masteron isn't dosed high.

But I suggest the bloods, maybe that completely makes you relook at things and what you want to get out of the next 10 years, what route you wanting to take.. Also if you notice that you actually have some high red blood cell count, now is a good time to note that prior to starting EQ, its just good data to have for longevity from a heart perspective, etc. Also you want to be at a point that getting out a bed isn't difficult.

Look forward to seeing where you go with this.

Thanks Pump. I really appreciate all the advice.

I guess I need to search for a doctor to do bloods for me. I think a part of me has always just been nervous to admit to one that I've been cycling.

Thanks for the advice on the Tren too. I'm not really considering competing at all but I have seen guys transform on Tren. It can't be denied it's the gold medal pin at the moment. But I think I'll steer clear of it unless anyone has another opinion.

Not sure what the ultimate goal is over the next 10 years to be honest. Considering my average genetics to begin with, and at the risk of getting laughed at, I guess like most okes on here I just wanna look good naked.
I've felt better about my body the last 5 years then I ever did in my 20s so that has to be a plus.

And let's be honest, without the punch you get from cycling, I'd probably be on the couch right now with a plate of slap chips looking fat as fuck like most guys my age.

I think I will continue the test/equi/anavar route for the moment but I still have a few months to decide while I try burn off the winter fat.

What is the forums feeling about Optimum Nutritions pre workout while off cycle? Any good?
With all the bullshit marketing on the labels these days its hard to know if it's worth it. Not cheap either but I remember years back I was told it's a good range.

It is on you. It always has been...

Struggling to lose the excess bodyfat. Not going to consider starting a new cycle until the handles are gone.

What is the consensus on apple cider vinegar?

Use it as salad dressing if it's to your taste, but it will not help with weight loss or any other health benefit.

How's your carb intake? Belly fat is mostly carb (insulin response) and/or estrogen related. I've tried keto, intermittent fasting and LCHF. What worked best for me is limiting my carbs to around 100g/day and mostly just after training, as well as ensuring my fat intake is good. Keeps me where I like to be, I have enough energy for the gym and evening training, also once I reached my goal body fat% the odd binge weekend is pretty easy to shake off.

My comments are not advice, medical or otherwise. I am not a medical practitioner. Always consult your Doctor before making decisions.

Thank you for the response boss.
This is the reason I love this forum. No bullshit honesty. I had the feeling the endless YouTube videos on apple cider vinegar and its weight loss benefits sounded fishy. Another waste of money product

I'm actually pretty good about about carb intake bro. Limited to sweet potato and the odd cheat meal or pizza.
I do have a weakness in that I put refined sugar into my coffee in the morning. But to be honest I have a maximum of one or two cups in a day.

Hi Nate.

How old are you?
Couple of things can influence it but I would start with what Mfezdro suggested ad it is also what I fo when I satrt dieting down. Move all carbs to 2hours pre and post training and then the leaner I get I move all carbs to pre and intra training none post.

So lets see. Give me your age, length and body fat? And weight

It is on you. It always has been...
