Best Ester for TRT

Hi Guys,

What will be the best ester to use for TRT.

Some Dr's say Depo/Cyp once a week and some say Sustanon once a week.

Any TRT guys that can shed some light on this?

Cypionate.

There is no need to mix long esters, decanoate (and undecanoate) have no place in use for men, and unfavourable conversions to estrogen and DHT etc.

Moreover, timing of injections etc becomes messy with the differing half-lives of sustanon.

Cypionate 1-2x per week is very reasonable and we have enough data to show it works without unnecessary risk of sides associated with sustanon.

I have been on Sus 250 for a year now at 125mg per week.

I take my shot every Sunday,took my last shot last Sunday 7 days ago.

I want to switch over to Cyp now.

When would you say should i start the Cyp?

Do i need to wait for the sus to clear or can a take my first sus shot This Sunday?

Simply switch to cypionate as per current schedule, no need to change anything else in my opinion.

At 125mg per week of sustanon, whatever long esters may linger a bit longer won't cause a huge serum increase, or at least within physiological range.

(If for you are concerned, you could use say 80-100mg for 3-4 weeks and then increase to 125mg, but personally I would not bother.)

I agree with MPhilosher. As a doctor who helps keep guys healthy, test cyp is the way to go. As dosage goes, start low, I'd say 100mg weekly (microdosing is an option) then check your bloods, especially your free test and SHBG. Adjust dosage accordingly. You want a good free test level without a high SHBG.
