Questions that may seem "silly" or like "common sense" but you still want to ask

I thought I'd open this thread as I think people may sometimes feel a bit embarrassed to ask "silly" questions, so it can be a "safe" space to ask these things. I'll go first.

1 - Where do you dispose of your used syringes and needles? (been wanting to ask this for years) Just bin them or take them to a pharmacy/medical waste centre if there is such a thing?

2 - Can you build up a tolerance to steroids and become less responsive to them? Feels like I don't respond nearly as well anymore. Could also be age but also a bit of abuse over the years to be honest.

2.

I think it is more of a dose vs body weight issue. If you had started off at say 80kgs. And you used 800mg per week. That's 10mg per kg. Now you are 100kgs and using the same dose, you are now 8mg per kg.

Also your nutrition and lifestyle changes and training changes happen..

5 years ago did you have as much stress in your life, home, work? Cortisol can fuck things up.

Do you consume more or less alchohol now vs previously?

Do you sleep full 8 hours as a result of that? Do you rest or have you had a change in your training style since you started? Is your caloric intake tailored to meet current vs previous gear usage? Is your choice of gear the same?

Also your age comes into account when in recovery which all play into "gear" not working as much as it used to.

It's such a more complex question that needs more diagnostics more so than just it doesn't the work the same..

Hey Empire,

Thanks for the response bro appreciate it as always.

I think it would probably mainly be down to diet. My cals are a lot lower than on previous cycles. I'm around 100kg's now and eating 2700-3000 cals whereas before I was around 108kg but eating much more. BF is pretty much the same though around 12-15 always.

Training style has changed a lot as well so that would probably have an impact too.

Stress is far higher, sleep is not as good and I'm older.

Gear was always PGW and LP and now its UPA and LP.

I used to drink but I don't actually drink at all anymore, find it too counter productive and I hang like a mother fucker so it's not worth it to me.

Looking forward to working with you again soon. You were the first person to help me in the beginning and I'm looking forward to seeing what we can do together so many years later.

Good luck this weekend

I pop all the caps back on and toss them in the bin, Honestly , no idea what to do with them.

Think empire got the second question pretty well answered.

My question,
So progressive overload, every day you push harder and get better,

what happens when you hit your limit? surely I cannot bench 300kg's, or squat 1000.... but if i keep going one more rep, or one plate heavier, it should eventually happen? Can I do anything to push that limit further?

I’d recommend you get yourself a bin that you store old sharpies in and when you go to the pharmacy to buy new needles, you take your bag of used ones for them to dispose of responsibly.

What do people mean when they say inject more frequent for stable blood levels mean? Estrogen Conversion?

On test enth. When I started I read people say inject twice or more frequent to keep blood levels stable so you don't convert a lot of estrogen. I did for first months.

But now I only do one injection. Once a week.  Every Monday. 300mg and I feel fine.

Does keeping blood stable levels mean estrogen related or other blood markers?

The higher the dose of Testosterone is in a shot, the higher the estrogen conversion rate will be. More frequent injections of lower doses often results in less side effects.

Hi there,

I use a 3ml syringe to administer my 'sauce', but each time a lump after a while, a lump decides to develop on the injection spot - uncomfortable feeling for 2-3 days.

Should I consider changing my needle size or my method of administration?

Thanks, much appreciated

What are you injecting exactly and what's the total volume? 3ml?

What gauge and length needle are you using?
