Good evening blokes and other folks
For reference, I'm 38, 1.85m
Currently in the middle of PCT (Clomid, Nolvadex, Aromasin, HCG) after a 15 week cycle:
- Test E @500mg per week (yes, in retrospect this was too high)
- Week 5 started with Anavar @60mg per day
- Week 6 I added daily 20mg Proviron + 20mg Primobolan + 20mg Aromasin to the mix
- Between the end of my cycle to PCT I took 40mg of Proviron per day
Sides (bad and good):
- Super oily skin and acne on my face. After I started using Benzac face wash and cream, this cleared up! The acne wasn't necessarily caused by excess sebum, but by bacteria causing issues in the hair follicles. I tried Nizoral, Selsun, Cetaphil but nothing worked. I was SO relieved when the Benzac finally worked!
- Around the height of my cycle, I got REALLY depressed. Every night before falling asleep I would think of how fucked-up I am, what a failure I am, how weak I am, and how useless this all is. It was terrible. I didn't enjoy my holiday at all and was moody and miserable with everyone.
- Hypogonadism
- I swear to god my penis grew, no jokes
- My voice also deepened
- Huge boost in confidence; shirt off everywhere, relatively unselfconscious beach time
Gains (October to January):
- Weight - 83.6kg to 88.6kg
- bf% - 16.8% to 13.8%
- Muscle mass - 63.9kg to 70.3 kg
Losses and changes (January to now):
- Went on holiday for two weeks with minimal exercise, which totally fucked up my routine. It's been excruciatingly hard to get back into the swing of things.
- My mood has improved markedly. But energy has diminished quite substantially
- I am now down to 81.7kg, 12.9% body fat (I suspect this reading is incorrect and it's actually higher), and 67.6kg of muscle mass.
- Looking back the contrast in drive, energy, libido, lust for life, positivity, and enthusiasm from the middle of my cycle and now is stark. I can see why people wouldn't want to come off this stuff.
- This whole process can also be quite isolating: Not socializing with family and friends because one is training so often, also not wanting to be in an environment where one is tempted to consume too much. Because I'm so impulsive, I train at home, which further reduces my contact with people.
Next steps:
- Further improving diet, exercise regime, and sleep quality
- Time on + PCT = 15 weeks + 4 weeks cooldown + 5 weeks PCT, that's 24 weeks. Geeze Louise. That means I can only start my next cycle in September!! Is that correct?
- I hope I'll lose some fat in the time until my next cycle
- On the next cycle, I want to keep on building lean muscle and aim for a more dry look. With all the copious amounts of info out there, I have no idea what to do for my next cycle, apart from lowering my test.
- Creeping closer to 40, so it's time for some bloods to get done
Any advice/feedback/tips/scolding would be welcome.
