Fact:
Kessar = tamoxifen. It was used initially as an anti-oestrogen in the treatment of breast cancer in both male and females. Tamoxifen is very specific in that it only blocks the oestrogen receptors in breast tissue. A new drug was needed for those individuals at higher risk for metastatic breast cancer, a drug that will block the aromatses enzymes higher up in the steroid producing cascade that yields testosterone, oestrogens and progesterones. Enter Arimidex and Femara - at an extremely expensive cost. One month's supply more than R1400,00. But it effectively blocks all oestrogen receptors - this is where the \"down side\" in body building comes in. We need oestrogen production for muscle growth and to keep our tendons elastic. Thus, when trying to \"bulk up\", Arimidex and friens are not good choices as anti -oestrogens, but when prepping pre-contest, they work perfectly during the last 4 weeks pre-show, driving off water retention due to oestrogen build up.Thus, it is my personal opinion that tamoxifen is a better choice to use to suppress gynaemastia, when on bulking cycle. It is way much cheaper, 20mg is more than enough per day. If you are a known oestrogen-sensitive individual, I would suggest starting your cycle using Kessar right from the word go. It is much more difficult to get rid of gynaemastia, if it has already \"flared up\". Kessar's work is only limited to breast tissue and will thus not curtail growth at muscle and tendon oestrogen receptor level.
