Which Needles & Syringes

Which needles and syringes do you guys use?

Many people think a needle is a needle is a needle ,,, but when you do almost daily injects you realise this is not true..

My favourite is Terumo,, they are the sharpest and go in the smoothest,,

BD aren't too bad

Promex are really horrible

Syringes -- Again TERUMO = number 1 ,, but the pharmacies don't always stock them,,, I hate the cheap rubbish promex and the even worse "healthsense" which clicks stocks..

Promex really sucks, some are sharp and others you need to take a run up and dive on them before they penetrate :laugh:

The thickness, 21 guage to draw the solution and 22 guage to inject. For water base I may go smaller, but these are the most popular I use.

I love the look on a pharmicists face when I ask for needles,, ask them if they have Terumo,,, and if they say no,, i say no thanks and walk away..

It's also funny when you go in and they ask how many,, and you're like uhh I'll take a Box of 3mls and box of spare 21g needles ,, and a box of insulin syringes and a a box of novafines,, They never seem to have enough stock..

I'd love to know what goes through their heads

Did you guys know that in a specific gauge needle, you can order different lenghts?
The normal "green needle" - that's the 21 G comes standard in 1 1/4" length, but you do get them shorter - I think 1/2 or 3/4"? Very nice to use site-specific........

Yip, use the shorter ones when ever I inject other than glutes. Don't you guys notice that glazed look some pharmisists get when you ask for syringes and needles? I think they are not sure to ask whether you are using if for juice or something else. Also get a pause before they answer, damn funny sometimes:laugh: Even got a lecture once .... "You know my boy, steroids are bad for you" and so on, here is the killer .... she still sold me the needles, bwah ha ha :laugh: dumb bunny ....

21g site specific,, ouch doc I thought I was the madman.
