Is Tertroxin OTC in South Africa ?

I always thought you needed a script for S3 in SA, but everyone i know picks up Myprodol and Cataflam (both S3 without a script).

So i went to the pharmacy and asked them for some Tertroxin and they gave it to me. I told a friend and he went to a different pharmacy and they told him to get lost.

Is S3 at the pharmacists discretion ?

no but its not but good luck getting hold of it...there is a world wide shortage at the moment...

Pharmacists can give S3 compounds at their discretion, depends on the individual I guess.
