Rather get a medical opinion and treatment before you go the gear route, if you mask it with gear it could come back worse after you stop the gear

It is not what car you drive, but the size of the arm hanging out the window.

I suffer the same pain their too, try not do any wide grip movements for back , closer your hands the more your range of motion is improved so do not stress about going wide it does not really equate to more growth! Just ask DORIAN YATES he was a proponent of this technique, you cant argue with his development, the juice will help to elleviate some pain but it is only really masking it , netro is right get a medical opininion juice is not the complete answer to your problem. try train around it, watch your form go alittle lighter and get some reps!

Regards MYO

I have asked my doctor about it, and the answer is a plain NO. Deca might relief the pain but in the process softens your 'kraakbeen' excuse the afrikaans, thus if you have knee problems already and take some deca to relief the pain tour surgery is just going to come sooner. By the description of your symptoms I would suggest a physio or biok to check out your form and see if your smaller muscles have stayed up to date with those big ass lats and pecs

Classic,
I have the same problem, especially when I go extremely heavy for 4 reps...

I had my doc check it out and he sent me for a Sonar Scan of the tendons...
There was some minor damage, but nothing too serious. Gave me some meds and had to stay off the weights for 2 weeks.
It was fine for 7 months and recently flared up again.

If I can give some advice:
Focus on your form, stay off the heavy side of weights only until the elbows feel better and the tendons grow stronger.
If need be, take a week off so the elbows can recover properly...

Cheers.

Sounds similar to tennis elbow. Get ur doc to check it out and hav a corterzone injection for now but stay off the weights for 2 weeks at least.

Deca puts alot of liquid in your joints, therefore it will give some relief, but its just temporary, as when you stop Deca, the pain will be there, but prob worse.
Maybe even wear a sling for your elbow for a week, to ensure you dont use it too much, and ensure you have a recovery.

Give it a shot, you're only TESTing it...

as there are some steroids that can cause a decrease in the amount of repair that is done on joints, there are certain food types that do the exact same thing.

i agree with what has already been said in this thread, but i'd also do some homework into what food types are good for joints and which are bad.

adding a supplement like MSM to your regime also can't hurt ... when i started doing a lot of treadmill work recently i could feel it in my ankles and my knees, running some high dose MSM and the difference is like night and day...

Pardon my ignorance, but what is MSM?

I know omega 3 and 6 help with joint pain and ease too.

MSM is a joint support supplement , i forget the exact wording for what's in it ... just google it and you'll see a million results.

you can get it at most pharmacies these days.

Get some Arthroguard from dischem. It is hands down the best joint support supplement I have used. It has MSM, chondroitin and glucosamine. It is cheaper than other products for the dose of active ingredients and has helped me with a few injuries.

I have used deca (pgw npp) at 50mg/week to help with recovery from a nasty rotator cuff injury and it did the trick with helping me lift without pain but I did first stop all heavy lifts for 3 months. Rest is best. Try the arthroguard first and if you do decide to go the deca route rather use npp. It kicks in quicker and you only need 50mg/week for joint support. I'm only recommending it because it DID help with my shoulder injury recovery although most of the time it isn't necessary.

Had something very similar, my diagnosis was tennis elbow.. I was always in serious pain when doing tricep pushdowns, the doc said the only thing that would help would be 6 - 8 weeks NO GYM.... what do they know anyway :) No gym for 8 weeks...would have been a shrivelled up raisin

I got the same kind of thing in my good shoulder on my bicep tendon. Doc told me 4-6 weeks NO gym. So im in week 5 now and the only gym ive done is a tiny bit of swimming and some legs. shoulder is feeling better. Think next week i can start pushing some weights again :)

Yeah swimming is great exercise and easy on the joints. Take 2 weeks off the weights and do some swimming.

If you can land your hands on some methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) this would be like magic for your joints. Try to get the powdered stuff as it's cheaper than caps. Last time I had serious joint issues, 4-6g /day for two weeks and the pain was gone.
