Hi
Could you guys please advise as to legal status of peptides in RSA, eg IGF-1, GHRP-6, and Ipamorelin? And has anybody used them for powerlifting, bodybuilding, etc?

For those interested in the subject: the legal position of peptides appears to differ slightly from that of anabolic steroids. Most anabolic steroids (and HGH) are listed in Schedules 4 and 5 of the Medicines and Related Substances Act (MRS Act). We all know that possession of these medicines without a prescription is illegal, with harsh penalties prescribed.
Peptides are not specifically listed in the Schedules to the MRS Act. There is only a general reference to ‘hormones’ in Schedule 4. This implies that possession of peptides is prima facie not illegal (note that sale of peptides is certainly illegal – S22A(10)
This being said, members must maintain the same confidentiality regarding their possession and use of peptides as they do with their steroids, for reasons that should be obvious.
