Redness after first jab

Hey all

Got the gf to try pin 0.4ml of PGW test C subq in my arm fat on Sunday, since Monday there's been some redness like 10cm away from the injection site. Made sure to alcohol swab and be pretty careful about hygiene. Anyone ever come across something like this? Used with a 29ga slin pin - guess I'm gonna be pinning IM going forwards, time to man up!

I would not judge all subq shots by one you tried to administer yourself on the back of your arm.
Try quad, stomach (away from the navel), or glutes (obviously not the glute...fat just above).

I would only let another person, that is clinically trained, shoot my in the back of the arm.
