Blood sugar level

What is considered a good blood suga I know I can just Google it but would also like to hear from those taking anabolics etc.. Last week my blood sugar level was 4.6 and today was 7.3?

When did you take those measurements, first thing in the morning before any food or drink?

As admin mentioned, the level could be normal depending on when you had the test performed. The NICE guidelines mention the glucose levels as normal:

A random glucose of more than 11.1 mmol/l is diabetes.
A fasting (8 hours since last meal) glucose of less than 5.5 mmol/l. Pre-diabetes is 5.5 to 6.9. more than 6.9 is diabetes.
2 hour post prandial level of less than 7.8 mmol/l. Pre-diabetes is 7.8 to 11.0. Diabetes is above 11
A hbA1C level of 6.5% or higher on two separate tests indicates that you have diabetes. A hbA1C between 5.7 and 6.4 % indicates pre-diabetes. Below 5.7 is considered normal. (HbA1c gives us an indication of long term blood sugar levels).

Well there is your problem (as I suspected), you are not testing at the correct time for your purposes.

Test first thing in the morning when fasted and post the results or compare it with LesDoctor's post.

Your sugars look fine, if you test after eating 7 is fine. However as admin said test fasted the same time in the morning and I'm sure it will be between 4.5 to 5.5.

Also check your insulin levels, you want insulin under 5.
