Hi all,

It's been a while since posting anything.

In June I've done some bloodwork and discovered that I am on par with a 60 year old's level and decided to go the TRT route. I did not consult a doctor and made use of this platform to start the process off.

I did a Base test as indicated on the attached pic.

Started off with 125mg Cypionate per week.

Stats:
37 years old
86Kg
1,86cm
Train 5-6 times per week.

Not training for anything specific, just some good old maintenance and looking after the body to feel good.

Fairly balance diet. Not eating extremely healthy, but also not unhealth. Like I said, living the balanced life.

Last week I did a Test after almost 4 months on 125mg Cypionate per week to see how it compares to my base levels.

Please see pic attached.

Please assist with following questions:
1) My E2 seems to be fairly acceptable. Would you recommend any E2 blockers or should I continue?
2) Total Test feels exactly where I want it. Would you agree or do I need adjustments?
3) SHGB seem acceptable, do you agree?
4) Free Test are above references which should be expected. Again, would that be acceptable or adjustments needed?
5) FSH wees in place, agree?
6) Lutropin (LH) is very low. Is that something to be concerned about and adjustments needed?
7) DHEA-S seems acceptable?

Overall I am very happy with the results and the feeling I am after.

Please feel free to make any suggestion as to how I can improve on the therapy.

Your base freer test was really not bad to start with. Optimal no, terrible no.

All other levels look good on TRT. LH and FSH will be suppressed due to trt

DC17, thanks for the reply. Yes, do realize it was not treble, but like you said, not optimal also. I had my fair share of cycles and want to keep levels as stable as possible and just enjoy life and training going forward.

I think you can increase your SHBG by increasing the frequency of your injections.
Possibly try twice a week to start, this should reduce your total free test and also reduce your E2

Hi, Optron been a while.

I would drop the dose down only slightly to 100mg a week and split that into two injections like 50mg Saturday and 50mg Wednesday or 50mg Monday and 50mg Thursday that should bring down E2 or even just start deviding your current dose in to two injections

It is on you. It always has been...

OPTRON your base total testosterone at 24.8 nmol/L was already higher than most healthy young guys. What made you think you had the T levels of an old man?

24.8 is great for someone who has messed around with steroids.

How is your BP and cholesterol? Most guys on TRT with Total T over 30 will have high haematocrit and low HDL (good cholesterol) which isn't ideal. I'd get a full blood count test and test your lipids.

200mg Test Cyp every 5 days only gets my levels to 24. I would never be on TRT if my natural levels where even close to that number. You shouldn't have started it, you bringing other health issues and expensive blood tests just to take steroids to provide the same level you are without them.

Thanks for the great feedback as always, much appreciated. Various indication showed that I was in the lower levels, although not critical. My main reason for giving it a try was mainly because I was the last 12 months as flat and lifeless as someone whom just got off a big cycle and that was getting the better of me.

As much as I wanted to feel better about myself, I also saw this as an experiment to test my levels and see what impact a low dose can have.

I definitely got that 'life is good' feeling back which already ticked the first box. Sides, from what I can see, doesn't seem to be alarming and should have stabilized by now.

I've never had any BP issues and only good high cholesterol, things I regularly tested.

Should you guys totally advise against me going the the trt route, then I will respect I and saw this as a low dose, 12 week test only cycle and continue with a PCT.

If you feel I might have a point and need an adjustment here or there, then that would also be much appreciated.

It might be that I am missing that competitive drive since retiring from competitive sports and living the family life, but I sure like to feel good again!

Thanks again @Pump, @MA and @Rooibul.

Will be waiting for you suggestions going forward!

I'm on TRT. 150mg or so a week split into EOD subq injections. E2 and SHBG all at a good range. If I lower my frequency I get E2 symptoms. Honestly, I would get off trt for now. You can defs push it out longer.

I'm 29. My Total T was 6.42nmol and Free T at 131 before starting. Did a few cycles in the past and after 15 months off and PCT my levels never came back, at that point went on TRT.
