Making Great Progress on Test + MK677 was created by DruOmedra
Hi all, been a while since I posted here, just wanted to get some thoughts off my mind.

I got into anabolics rather 'young' at 25, now 32. Then again nowadays all I see on social media are 'tiktok' kids 15-17 on sarms, test and more, when their natural test levels are at their peak.
So I've tried pretty much everything, albeit at low doses, I've never used exorbitant amounts of anything ala Rich Piana/Bostin Lloyd. But even so, I do feel that I jumped from compound to compound too quickly, trying to find that 'magic combination' that suddenly puts 20kg of muscle on me or makes me double all my lifts.

The truth is there is no such thing. They all have a place and time to be used, but I'd say most of them aren't necessary to achieve your goals, unless you're at the elite level.
I am currently my biggest and strongest that I have ever been. I am on 500mg of test and 15mg of MK677. 500mg of test was my very first cycle, and at the end of that cycle I weighed 84kg. I am currently frickin 98kg on essentially the same dose, albeit 7 years later.

It takes time. I once did a Test/Tren/Deca/Dbol blast. The doses were fairly low (100mg tren/250mg deca/300mg test/30mg dbol) but honestly, add all those together and you actually a lot of MG of anabolics in you.
The only difference that cycle did to me was (vs now) increased vascularity and made me extremely pumped, like literally looking 10kg's heavier at the start of workout vs the end. But I was not physically larger or stronger than I am now on Test/MK only. Not to discredit that blast though, it did make me bigger and stronger than I was, but mixing all those compounds was not needed. Someone more advanced would have been able to utilize it more. But the point I'm trying to make, is that it takes time.
Your second/third cycle doesn't need to be overkill, you can only grow so much. And you shouldn't do it at the expense of your health.

I have surprised myself with this, I really do think people should adopt the 'trying to do as much as possible with as little as possible', especially if you're going to blast and cruise, and be on TRT for life.
My health markers are good, I had them checked out today. The recent deaths of bodybuilders that I been following since I started, have shook me a little. Jerry Ward being the most recent, but about 5 people that I followed have died, all between 30-50 years old.
I am glad that the stigma around PED use has been dissipating, and we have more knowledge and resources out there than ever before, and nowadays the average Joe seems to be more informed. But I also don't want it to go to the opposite end of the spectrum, where people just take stuff without any regard for their health.

So what have I done differently? Why can I be stronger/bigger on less compounds?
Honestly, and I hate to say it, because it gets thrown around a lot, but it was down to training, diet and mentality. Not being able to use gear as a 'crutch' to fall back on, I changed my powerlifting programming, upped my calories, and really just told myself "this is my goal, and this is what I want to achieve". Sometimes that is really what you need, willpower to commit. And then to follow-through with it.

That's my 10 cents.
Thanks all.

consistent actions, over long periods of time = long-term achievable results.

you are using less gear, 100% but probably have prioritized training and nutrition and compliance over a long period of time to get the results.

I had this conversation with a client yesterday. For the first 6 weeks, his compliance hasn't been great to nutrition, cardio has gotten better, and training has been consistent, but diet and general step count have been all over the show and wondered why he had blood markers that even left LesDoctor concerned for long term health, one of the things he had said to me I only have a couple of months left with you, and then you have to help me maintain cos I am battling to keeping to this.

The response is this "old habits do not create new results, and if you want the results, stick to the plan and stop trying to mess with it." I have had clients come to me and complain they aren't getting the results, because they just don't want to do what is necessary. No more than is necessary, just the bare bones. track your food, track your steps, and track your workouts. make sure you are making progress over a long period of time, then you get guys like Obelix, who is down now over 50kgs and i get messages saying "I got offered 2 beers at work today, but I want to get into the 150kg range, and coke zero tasted so much better."

if you want to get in shape and stay in shape, you can't just stick a needle in your ass, train for 5 days a week, and then fall off the bandwagon and drink and eat and do no activity over the weekend. The priority needs to be on long-term compliance. Also, the big thing is people take too much to start, and all they do is get side effects, and oxidative stress, and because the results are slower, they add more, and more and more.

you have done a great job, i would do things a little differently, but that is just me. but hats off to you for making great gains and changes on less gear, and more consistent behavior.

You found Mk677 beneficial? (especially in terms of sleep)

the mk677 I got from LP is amazing for sleep at 2mg a night, I will give it that much, the only issue is during my prep it was driving my hunger up and water retention. so during an offseason a low dose, if you can keep BP under control, will be a great addition.
