Cycle at 42

Hey guys,I'm thinking about running a test-only cycle for around 12–16 weeks.I just got my bloodwork done (I'll post it below) and wanted to get some advice.I've done a couple of cycles back in my early 30s, with a proper PCT afterward, and recovered fine at the 'm worried about whether I'd fully recover post-cycle.I'm not ready to commit to TRT, so I'm trying to make an informed decision before going ahead.

For context: I’m also on cholesterol medication due to inherited high cholesterol, which I’ve been managing consistently.
I’m aware that some compounds can impact lipids further, so that’s another area I’m cautious about.I’m open to any suggestions, feedback, or experiences you guys can share — really appreciate the knowledge here!Thanks in advance.

You can run a test only cycle.

Dosage will now depend on how much you can tolerate. I would suggest your max dosage for a test only cycle will be 400mg/wk for the 14-16weeks.

i would run 250mg of test for 16 weeks, get blood work done and recheck those markers, I would say your free test would probably be around the 900-1200 mark, there after which would be the top end of trt dosing. Check your e2 at that stage, and then from there if your blood work comes back and all health markers are in check, you could stay on and add in other DHT compounds.

My main concern is preserving natural testosterone production — fertility isn’t a priority for me right :

• Run HCG during the cycle (to keep the testes stimulated),
• Or save it for the final 4 weeks before PCT, assuming I come off?

If I do come off, I’ll be doing a proper PCT with Clomid and Nolva.

You mean stay on 250mg a week or lower the dose ?
I am coming up to 16 weeks soon and feel great with very little sides, little oily skin but no acne breakout.

We need to get blood work done to determine dosage and internal strain to be able to make the call to the dose you can stay on.
