So starting june in the 160's

169.5 this morning. Still falling off easily. Feels like the 180's took forever, but the 170's were a breeze.

My mom and aunt are down from botswana for the first time in a year and they are well impressed with the changes, scary to think im 40kgs down from my highest that I noted...

Been a while since the last update, So here we go

Hit 167.9 this weekend, we are going to up the calories a bit this week because I feel like im drained. Strength is starting to suffer, endurance has been lacking for the last while, Even though I managed a 30min of elliptical last week. So we taking a "Break" for a week or so.

Refeed yesterday has upped the happiness levels, Really went hard on it, Chelsea bun, some lamingtons and more veggies than ever.

Sadly the wife seems to have lost the bug for gymming, skipped the last 3 sessions, so I figure its over

We check in daily, motivate each other and Thanks to empires advice, I have been able to help him to get here

20kg's in 3 months, He seems to be keeping it down. He is a proper afrikaaner so he likes his brandy etc... Explained carbs, waterweight etc to him and he is doing awesome

Just wanted to brag about his progress too.

166 flat this morning,

Been on a calorie load this week, 500 up from normal, But still losing. Feeling alot more energetic

wifes back at the gym, she just needed time.

Not much update weight wise, Things are happening but nothing to tell the press about

BUT, the big changes are cm's and strength in the gym. Im back on a power mission. Today I went heavier in 4 out of 6 exercises. Including getting up to 100kg's per side on the plate loaded dip machine. Its getting impossible to hold me down now. Cause you know, im so light and sexy

Overall really loving my legs, calves are looking good (not empire shredded but definetly not dad bod legs. Quads are showing alot of muscle, but the insides are still woblly. Going to speak to empire to see how I can work that out.

Back is feeling wide, Triceps are bigger than some guys biceps

overall, feeling amazing still.

Feels like ages that I have been in the 160's, but Cm's are still coming down and strength is still high up

We went out to lawyers yesterday to sign for our new home, (First home) and obviously I cant wear my normal tshirt and shorts. So i put my good jeans on. I hate longs

Anyways, walking in, the jeans were basically falling off. So I went to tighten the ol belt again, Couldnt.... was on the last hole! The same belt has 5, i was on the widest setting , then went without it and barely buttoned them up. Now this!

this diet is costing me so much on clothes!

will take pics tonight, just need to get buff today in the gym, I know you guys like looking at my sexy body

well, it's a terrible problem to have, changing clothes cos you can fit you and your Mrs in the same shirt. i remember when I lost all my weight initially, I had shirts I put on that I was like yea, I can sail away in this if I put out my arms.

the same thing as the other day, I went to an event I needed to wear a suit. well the suit was my wedding suit and it doesn't fit me anymore, and I got married 3 months after I competed in 2015.

you killing it and i love the fact you are learning more and more about your body and always questioning me as to what the processes are etc.

Havent followed this in a while, but congratulations on the progress.

Honestly, The only reasons I'm staying here are because Empire makes it easier (More on that shortly) and because I realized that I wasn't going to see 50...

So, just an FYI for anyone looking to hire Empire for his mad skills, DO NOT TAKE HIS WEIGHT ADVICE. the man thinks I'm a lot stronger than I really am. I mean I did all the stuff he told me to, But it was heavy! Haven't been that gassed in ages.

Turns out he noticed that I was being a little bitch, Dopamine levels are high now. Feeling great

That is what the point of a coach is... making what you are doing harder and more effective so that you get better at it.

We were sand bagging a little bit on training and now watch in 3 weeks time those weights will be easy.

I see I have alot more saggy skin that I was hoping for, although Empire did warn me, BUT that just means I wont get stretch marks when I fill out with muscles

Man I'm so proud of you. You really have kicked ass here!! People don't know what it's like to loose 50kgs. That Is more than a small child you aren't carrying around on your body everyday

The compliments you must get now days from people are a probably massive. And we are still chipping away. No starvation, getting you stronger. I'm like a father of a new born child. So happy either the last "victory" pose as this is the start of being victorious.

Last pose looked alot better in my head

but It also shows a bit more what i look like, without slumped shoulders and hanging everything,

So quick update incase you guys forgot me,

Started this Journey last year, But really kicked it into gear on the 11th of November,
That was 277 days ago,
Started on 205.5, Yesterday I was 159.4. Thats 46.1 kg's.

My goal is still 150, with Obelix 2.0 going to 120

This weekend we have a little family gathering to celebrate Father in laws 70th, also happens to coincide with my 5 year wedding anniversary. My goal for the weekend is to be below 160, which I have met (apart from the load day yesterday which pushed me just over 160 again)

Now, next goals.
11 November, Be below 150

Xmas day, 145

I can achieve this... I know it.

Uhhhh 140 by Christmas.

What obelix neglects to tell you, that he is down a total of 51.6kg since he started on his own journey.

We are smashing goals, still having a decent amount of food, still getting stronger, still having refeeds and I think that is a big thing that needs to be added is the strength gain which means there is muscle gain, he sent me videos of a proper 300kg leg press, no half reps, full range, decent speed and pause. He has smashed this and it made Me really emotional and proud to see that Weight on the 150s this weekend.

ah crap, 140? Ok ok ok, Will have to rework the schedule and bills. Let me see what HR and finances can do
