Nope Selsun isn't the same as niz. You gotta use the right stuff.

It has to be Nizoral or Kez yep. It has an anti-androgen which minimises how much DHT (what makes men go bald) binds to the receptors in your hair follicles. Kez is the cheaper option.

Both products have the same dose of ketonoazole. I first used Niz/Nizoral but Kez was cheaper and worked well for me as long as I used it correctly. Instant relief from the itching but I'm not sure how much it helped for hair loss. Hard to say as I was using minoxidil as well for a long time.

Leaving it on my scalp for 5 minutes eventually became too much of a mission on a long cycle along with minoxidil.

I get you on the same dosing of ketonoazole in both products, however even with my thyroid meds I take, different brands at the same dosing produce a better result. Euthyrox for example at 150mcg daily left my levels tanked, my doctor looked at my numbers switched me to eltroxin and I shit you not in 5 days I felt like a new human and levels where great.

I guess it would be down to personal preference really eg generics vs originals,I just found niz far superior.

I don't know whether it's psychosomatic, but my face is much less oily after using the Selsun :silly:

It's not psychosomatic. Selsum will reduce the production of the skin oil that cause acne and contributes to dandruff, whereas Nizoral protects your hair follicles from DHT which causes hair loss.

Guys, I'm know this is a little off-topic, but I'm having some serious constipation. I had the biggest poop of my entire life on Saturday and mid-labour I was thinking I needed a bloody cesarean to get the thing out of me!! Tuesday there was a little reprise albeit not nearly as bad. I'm eating enough roughage but maybe I should increase my water intake. However, I'm unsure as whether the water intake is the problem.

Supplements:

• NAC
• Vital liver recovery
• TUDCA
• Melatonin
• ACC200

Any advice? Not very keen on popping a vein at the next crowning...

If your diet has enough fibre and you ruled that out as a problem you can add a Magnesium supplement to see if that helps.

You are throwing the kitchen sink at this. Liver support and tudca is over kill. Take only tudca. NaC and acc200 are the same thing. Use the nac and save your money on the acc200.

Water intake : while be at about 50mls per kg of body weight per day. Fiber intake should be at 25-30g a day
As admin stated, magnesium or milk of magnesium should help, if not a 10mg dulcolax suppository will Clear out the major blockage.

So the scalp itching is driving me insane again. Wondering if the Kez shampoo is drying out my scalp? Am I overdoing it?

Slightly upped my test E dosage to 90mg every other day (3mg x 80kg + 30% = 312mg per week). Is it correct that I adjusted for the ester weight? I'm wondering if this increase is exacerbating the itchy scalp, which seemed to be under control with the previous dosage of test. Will my body adjust or will I have to reduce my dosage?

Yet again you have over complicated things by adding the 30%.. where did you come up with that? 3mg per kg is my suggestion for the upper limit before side effects become an issue, do not worry about the Ester weight or anything like that, it is so minute in relation to the whole cycle that you basically splitting hairs at this point.

You are using a dht compound being primo, that's going to be causing the sculp itching. Use it every other day on your hair and see if it gets better.

I haven't started primo yet, I'm only on Test E. The base hormone equivalent of 100mg test e is 72mg, which is a difference of just under 30%. The section on gear basics states that it is important that one should take this into consideration, hence me factoring in the ester weight into my calculations. I'm also on week 5 of test, so it's not time for the primo just yet.

I've never in my life been worried about that Ester Weight at all, neither has anyone of my mentors in the last 15 years. Just stick with the basics as gospel, don't try and get overly scientific or trying to listen to too many people. You end up picking the bits of information you want to hear and then coming to massive conclusions and ideas that just over complicate the matter.

I promise you now, longer, lower, slower when it comes to the anabolics will give you long term results with less health complications.

Fact !!!

Reduced the dosage as soon as Empire suggested it: sage advice. Skin is much better and scalp less itchy since returning to 240mg per week.

A lot of upheaval in my life the last week (out of my control), so my training schedule has taken a knock. Will post an update as soon as I'm back on the straight and narrow.

Wow, look at that,above 3mg per kg and side effects, less side effects from lower doses than 3mg per kg, who would have thought??? ????
