TRT or not was created by pocketmuscle
Hi gents,

I would like your personal opinion on the subject matter.

I have been on TRT for about 2 years, 75mg Test Cypionate twice per week (150mg / week).
Felt great, libido, mood, energy everything was good.

My wife and I decided to try for a baby, so I decided to come off.
Did a PCT, consisting of HCG, Nolvadex and Aromasin which lasted for about 2 months.

I waited about two months after completing the PCT and ran some blood tests which are below:

Total Testosterone: 10.8 nmol/L
Free Testosterone: 220.8 pmol/L
LH: 4.9 IU/L
FSH: 3.7 IU/L
SHBG: 31 nmol/L
DHEAS: 2.9 µmol/L
Estradiol: 85 pmol/L

We also went to see a gynecologist, and received some bad news regarding complications from my wife's side. So it does not look like we are going to try further for another child.

So would you recommend I am indeed a candidate for TRT, and do Test Cypionate 150mg split twice a week and use HCG alongside 500IU twice per week?
Or perhaps going on Enclomiphene - though I am not sure about this? Cannot take the side effects of Clomid.

My current stats:
43 years
Weight: 73kg
Bodyfat: 11%
Height: 1.78m
Weight training 4 - 5 times per week.
Diet is in check, though I can up my carbs a bit.
Sleep: Average 8 hours per day.
Mood and energy levels are a bit down, obviously not the same as when I was on TRT previously.

I would really appreciate your opinion/s.

Please let me know if you require any additional information.

Many thanks.

What's the complication from your wife side? How old is she?

Hi Empire,
Thank you for the response.
I know one of the complications are that her tubes are blocked... which the doctor explained he can open for her.
But there was another thing he was concerned of, just need to check in with the misses.

That is why I was thinking of using HCG together with the TRT, just to keep the testicles "alive".

Would you say 150mg per Test Cypionate is a good starting point and use it together with HCG 1000iu's per week, or could I get away with only using 500iu's per week?

Thanks

Well that is 100% typical of being hypogonadial

You could take hcg and hmg to help with that, but we want to see whats going on with your mrs too and if you are wanting to carry on with the idea of conception.
