yea u can use ovidrel... if u are going to be running maintaince dose i would take 1.5mls of water and mix it into the ovidrel solution and then u run 10iu's every 3rd day. 100ius = 1ml so u will get 15 shots out of your ovidrel so u will get 4 weeks out of 1 bottle.

this might sound a bit stupid but since i barely use test i never used pregnyl either.that advice for 500 IU every 3rd day is that intramuscular or subqutenious?

but wait then how do you fit 500 IU in a insulin syringe? i remember my mate was jabbing humatrope and 4 IU was like half the syringe???

HGH, 1ml = 10iu, 0.4ml = 4iu

which is exactly what im saying. Isnt insulin syringe 10 IU.so how do you fit 500 IU of hcg is the ratio different?

what I do is instead of diluting it more ,I use a 0.5 ml insulin syringe and every mark on the syringe is 100iu's and that should be accurate enough( I was using 500iu's 2x /week and that protocol worked fine )

It is not what car you drive, but the size of the arm hanging out the window.

what u gotta realise is this,an insulin syringe first of all is 100ius.

now the powder in the vial (in this eg pregnyl) is 1500ius. now if u mix that powder with 0.1ml =10ius, that 10iu's is going to be at a strength of 1500ius. so in order to get in 500ius u need to get 3,3333iu's of that mixed water. so if u mix your pregnyl with 1ml of water (100iu's) that 1ml of water is at a strength of 1500ius. so u need to take in 33iu's of that 1 ml to get 500ius of pregnyl...make sense?

:huh: not getting that one at all what you saying is that even if i mix 1 ml with the powder or .1 ml it will still be 1500 ius? so i would need 1 ml / 3 to get 500 ius? or 0.1 / 3 if im mixing 0.1 ml of water????? :unsure:

Looks like we need a forum subsection "BB Mathematics 101". This freaks everybody out at some stage.

Mixing iu's got me confused once again.
I found it easier to relate to it like Admin said.

Ovidrel has 6300iu in 1ml. To get to 500iu ovidrel : 6300/500 = 12.6, 1ml / 12.6 = 0.07936 ml; OR, for the quicker route: 500/6300 = 0.07936 ml(Remember that this is only where 1ml is used)
Easily measured on the 0.5 or 0.3ml Syringes from Dischem since they have markings for 0.01ml

bud a insulin syringe is 100ius big. 1iu = 0.01ml. 10iu's = 0.1ml and 100iu's = 1ml.

so u got it right saying u will need .33ml but that equates to 33iu's.

ahh ok i get it now thanks dj. But one more final question since we on the topic of HCG. Lets say a person travels and needs to move it in a car for like a 12 hrs drives. Now does pregnyl need to be in a coolbox while its being transported or it only has to be in a cool environment once it has been mixed. Im also curious about humatrope as well is it the same deal?

Cooler box with ice packs or one of those car fridges if you have. Works fine.
Polystyrene cooler boxes are best or one that seals well.
I use gel ice packs for GH, you can get them at Dischem for R40 about each
