Sounds wrong too me too, I always try too get in protein, bcaa's after cardio cause your body needs nourishment after any form of exercise too combat being catabolic.

exactly the same thing i was thinking mission.i always have my bcaa's after.especially if i do my cardio 1st thing in the morning on a empty stomach

Its fine to wait half-1 hour after cardio without having a shake or anything. Your body is using free fatty acids released during the cardio workout as the energy source. Your metabolism is still high following this time period and when you do have your shake you keep the metabolism high. If you aren't wanting to lose fat with the cardio then there is no harm done if you have the shake right after cardio.
