Went to dischem today purchased some kez and moni 5% but when I asked for Tropical spiro they looked at me like i was mad and said that it's a diuretic and would be useless for any hair loss issue I might have??????

Could someone actually shine some light on the subject and maybe give us misinformed individuals some idea were to actually fine this stuff or what product actually contains TS.

Topical spiro is hard to come internationally let alone in SA.
Best option is to make your own.

Get some spiro tabs, crush 600mg and add to 50ml alcohol-alcohol is best absorption base to use.
Heat the mixture and make sure it's properly dissolved and then put into a dropper bottle.
Use once or twice per day. This with finasteride is your best bet at stopping hair loss.

Thanks Yohimbe, When u talk about the tabs are you referring to the diuretic? And what alcohol solution can I use that is easy to find?

Yep the diuretic tabs-have to get them from online pharmacy, but not too difficult to get hold of.
Ethanol would be best, but is difficult to get hold of, meths is next best thing, or failing that 160 proof Stroh Rum.
None of it smells too good, so will have to use something to cover up the smell, especially if your going to use it in the morning.

Alternatively you could benzyl alcohol if you're worried about the smell, but I think ethanol or meths would suspend better.

Depends on the filler to make the tabs as well. Certain fillers might not dissolve in the alcohol and then with the sediment at the bottom your left thinking: "is my spiro in the liquid or the sediment".

Not really, I tried to make it twice with different recipes and both were not satisfactory in my opinion...
