Hi all... am looking for lean muscle and strength gains along with fat loss.(MMA as opposed to bodybuilding) The following cycle was suggested:

Anavar 50mg ED Weeks 1-8
Proviron 25mg ED Weeks 3-8
Clomid 50mg ED Weeks 9-11

Diet and gym routine are all in check. Any adice on above suggestion much appreciated! Can any fundis out there tell me would the prov add much value to the var or is it not worth adding it in? any input much appreciated!

If you're doing MMA that's a kak (oral only is anyway) cycle. Will dry you out badly. Joints will take a hammering. What's you're cycle history?

have only done one previous cycle of var only at 30mg for 8 weeks... got decent results and no real side effects... other than a monster headache. have 4 months off and plan to do cycle in first 2 so theory is any potential sides(drying out and joints) will be gone a few weeks after without losing the gains??

U wont gain much muscle from Anavar. U need to eat and train like a beast to put on any noticable muscle.

for cutting, Anavar is good. But like wat Milktuds said, ur joints will take a hammering.

Hmm, I don't like oral only cycles however it looks fine for what you after... Remember to use liver support throughout the cycle and during pct, hmm, I also find nolvadex a great pct, maybe 10 days clomid and 20 days nolva..

thanks for input oopump... can you give your thoughts on liver support aswell as the clomid and nolva doses? also if not oral only what would you replace it with?

if u are looking for lean gains a test prop and masteron prop cycle is top notch,the masteron doesnt dry out your joints like anavar and winstrol do but gives u that lean dry hard look... do clomid at 100mg a day for 7 days(split up morning and night) and followed by 20mg kessar daily for 28days.

Mast is good as it doesnt aromatize - so when ur in the cage, you wont have to tap out due to submission when your opponent puts the'bitch tit squeeze' on you... :laugh: (dry, but you can drink it...) ;)

Also, maybe useful for you to know that studies have shown it to be one of the drugs responsible for increased agression - could be useful for you in the cage...

I'm just sayin... :whistle:

@DJ - with mast being a DHT, is it only necessary to run fina with it if you have a family history of things like male pattern balding; prostrate probs, acne etc? Or should you keep it on hand just in case?

Please understand the drug propecia. It stops the conversion from testosterone to dihydrotestosterone it will not do anything for substances that are dht derivatives.

i was thinking of a cycle for myself sometime next year possiblly also for what you after (also traing MMA, havnt lifted in more than a year :( my old love..)

I dont like the idea of being a pin cushion or the hellraiser so no prop for me!

Have been playing with the idea of masteron/primo in my head but want to keep total weekly mg's down!

plan was that am currently training with a bunch of guys for two hours in the afternoon, and then wanting to go train with a a different bunch straight after that for 2 hours.. thing is i am absolutely fried after the first seession!
My theory was that running a 16 weeker of this would help the body adapt to the double intensity and help majorly with the accelerated recovery! Recovery is KEY with MMA. Then hopefully after the cycle i should have achieved some major phsiological development which will let me cope with that much training off-cycle.
