Ovidrel on cycle

With regard to the ovidrel during cycle, the 250iu or 500 iu a week, is that one shot of ovidrel for the whole week or must it be divided up amongst the week? how often must one shoot it?

I split my HCG shots into 3 per week - 250IU E2D.

yeah i have read before about with hcg being like 250iu twice or three times a week, but in the doctari pct thread he says "use 250 to 500 IU's Ovidrel once a week" so just want to make sure that he meant take it all as one shot a week....

How long does a box of ovidrel last at that dose? i know a box is 250mcg/ml but how many mls of the water is there? i mean once you add all the powder to the water how many mcg or iu of the stuff will one have

If memory serves me correct, Ovidrel comes in a 250mcg vial that is equal to 6000IU HCG. The vial is accompanied by 1ml sterile water for mixing. Once mixed you can draw out the required amount by calculating the correct IUs. One advantage of Ovidrel over pregnyl is that it can be mixed and kept at room temperature for up to 30 days.

If doctari said use 250IU to 500IU once a week then it more than likely means one shot/week. Splitting the dose up will just keep blood levels more stable.

so about 10.4mcg will equal 250iu?

Correct, 250IU/6000IU x 250mcg = 10.4mcg

1ml = 100IU
6000IU/250IU = 24 doses at 250IU's each
100/24 = 4.1 IU's on an insulin syringe.

You do realize that 6000IU's of Ovidrel has the efficacy of 10000IU Pregnyl.

10000IU/250IU = 40 doses at 250IU's each
100IU/40 = 2.5IU's on an insulin syringe.

As you can see its not very much especially when you have to draw it from a 1ml solution. That is why it is recommended to add more sterile water to increase the amount of the mixed solution.

how much sterile water would you need to add though, i also have 250mcg ovidrel and only 1ml sterile water amp with it?
