1st Cycle Confusion was created by DMZ
After spending a good few months reading the forum topics, I was all set to try out Test-Cyp for my first cycle as suggested by the sticky. Then I came across a write up on another site saying that novices should avoid testosterones ??

I was under the impression that a test only cycle is the least likely to cause issues and turn into a cockup for a novice like me.

Any ideas why the above site would suggest novices avoid test?

Howzit DMZ.

That is really odd advice.

On the contrary, testosterone is already produced naturally by your body which is why newbs are often advised to go the test only 1st cycle route and there AFTER start experimenting with the 19 nor & dht derivatives.

Cyp is tops! Im 5 weeks in and its really going well!

Long as you've done your research, your training is up and your diet is good - go for it bud.

Thanks for the words. I am getting all the gear organised and will begin my cylce early march. Going to post some stats and pics for the before and after vibe.

Diet is def going to be the biggest challenge, hard to eat clean and often when stuck at work all day!

I pre-cook my chicken breasts and egg-whites in one big batch which lasts about 3 days. Keep it in the fridge and then take to work everyday. I munch on this throughout the whole day at work. I also have a tub of whey at work.

That is a load of shit. Every single respected site on the internet recommends test as the basis for practically every cycle. And I would say that a test-only cycle is probably the most recommended for a first cycle, as well. Well at least you have come to the right place this time.
How much cyp are you planning to take? Are you sticking exactly to DJ's first cycle sticky?
How long is your cycle?
How long you been training?
What are your body stats?
What are you hoping to achieve?

All steroids are derivatives of testosterone, so that would make sense it is the primary compound used.

Hi.

I am not sticking exactly to the sticky :)

Planning to run Test Cyp @ 500mg/week for 10 weeks. Not planning to use the dbol or proviron as I want it to be a "gentle" introduction for my system. Please correct me if this thinking is not all that.
PCT will be the same as in the suggested first cycle.

My Stats:
Age: 26
Weight: 72kg
Height: 1.76m
Body Fat: 12%

I have been training for 4 years now. My goals for the cycle are to put on as much mass as possible and increased strength for future training/cycles.
