water retention with testo was created by nic007
Hi Guys, what would you suggest to take with a cycle of say test cypionate to reduce the water retention a bit as it might be a bit of a prob if i suddenly "blow up" overnight. I rather want/need to make slow but consistent gains over 3-6 months.

You mean a diuretic? No that is the last thing you want to do, estrogen has negative effects, you don't want 'mask' just 1 side of it and add strain to your body with that drug, rather suppress the estrogen a bit.

Diuretics do serious damage if used unnecessarily, as pump said rather use Letro/Adex or Aromasin, best value for money to me is Letro. Super strong as well but watch your libido. It seems us BBers are always trading one thing for another, one hand full of pills do this the other prevents that and the last one helps this

no proviron at 40-50mg a day will help with water retention, arimadex at 0.5mg EOD will help with water retention

I read somewhere that its best to start an AI a week before you start the cycle since it takes a while to work, can anyone else confirm this? And does anyone have experience using vitamin C as a natural diuretic?

Sorry guys Apparently it is true, cause its happened to certain people already, so I’m not taking any chances !!

Vit C is a very 'weak' diuretic, so no it wouldn't be an option.. Secondly the reason they say start a week before is it takes some time to stabalize in ones body.. If you don't suffer gyno, then start it with the cycle.. My oldschool knowledge used to be start Nolva 2 weeks into your cycle, so you probably could do a similar thing with an AI (no you don't use Nolva anymore with cycles)..

Due to letro and other AIs being better and because of estrogen rebound with nolva?

I am doing Test Cyp and little dbol now- water retention is huge- I was injured and only started training now 8 weeks after injury- last week I had the flu- so stopped cardio as well for that week. I bulked up heavily- and first thing I thought was it is fat from not training as I should- but I had major water retention- so Wednesday and yesterday I took Amiloretic, a diuretic, and my results are now completely satisfying- as my gains are "dry" and hard- impressive if I compare it with the amount of training I did while on injury.

Anyway Deadgoat- I started using a "bufferd" Vit C with bioflavonoids for the flu last week - Not sure what it means- but the little fairy at Dischem told me it is much better than normal vit C- 5 grams is 2000mg- and I took about 20 grams per day- which is 8000mg- that is huge in my books and I was a bit scared of getting ghout from all the vit C- but I can tell you it stopped my flu dead in its tracks, but I saw NO improvement on water retention- untill I used the Amiloretic- now Pump scared me off the Amiloretic as well-

I will never use it daily- just 2 - 3 days max once a month or so- is it still that bad then pump?
