Merging Cycles for Comp. was created by CHAPEL
Howsit all,

I need some advice because I honestly don't know how to structure it. I know a guy who is running a cycle of deca, dbol and sust (i do not know exact dosages but from what i can tell, sust at 500mg/week and deca i am not actually sure but i think it may be at 600mg which is too high with regards to his test ratio) at the moment in preparation for a comp in late march/ early april next year.

The cycle is in my opinion, a little delayed. As there is not enough time to do another cycle/prep/cut (I really don't know how it works so maybe there is) in time for the actual contest. So there are more or less 23 weeks till the comp. This cycle PCT included will take about 18-20 weeks.

So my question is, should he just run winny and proviron in the interim before PCT as a sort of cut and hardener? And then in the final few weeks diet like a machine with the aid of some burners. Or is there a better option.

Hope for some good feed back. Thanks.

Good stuff.

How far along the cycle is he? I'd say run the cycle at a slightly lower dose till week 17, then run mastP/trenA/test prop till the comp starts and probably dropping the prop the week before the comp, then start PCT day after the comp or something like that

Sorry guys Apparently it is true, cause its happened to certain people already, so I’m not taking any chances !!

in his first week. Should have mentioned that, and that it can't be overly expensive. So that combo is a little too hectic, and it is his first proper cycle. I didnt give the advice but hey, what can you do. It needs to be something simple and easy.

I understand terms like "can't be overly expensive" and "simple and easy" are not exactly the best factors in a contest prep, but it needs to be. Thanks.

A good pre-contest protocol to follow 1 week out would be:
-double wintrol dosage to 100mg - 150mg ED 7 days out
-drop test prop 1 week out (any long esters like Equi, Deca, Mast E, Tren E etc at least 2 to 3 weeks out)
-run Masteron prop 100mg ED 7 days out
-drop GH 7 days out
-start carb depleting 7 days out
-reduce sodium intake 3 - 4 days out
-start reducing water intake 3 days out, 1 day out only sip water when necessary
-carb up 2 days out
-add duiretics 3 days out
-drop clen 2 days out
-red wine or sherry before pre-judging
-last week should contain full body workouts (each muscle group ED), increased cardio

Perhaps DJ and Koe can add some input.

-drop GH 7 days out (10 days)
-start carb depleting 7 days out (8 days depending on if u need to make weight class etc)
-reduce sodium intake 3 - 4 days out (sodium load from 10days out, then cut sodium down from 6 days out and then drop it 3 days out)
-start reducing water intake 3 days out, 1 day out only sip water when necessary(depends on how the person reacts to water and if they have to make weight)
-carb up 2 days out (once again as said above)
-add duiretics 3 days out (be careful with any advice on diuretic usage unless u know what u are doing)
-drop clen 2 days out(5 days)
-last week should contain full body workouts (each muscle group ED), increased cardio (no legs training 10 days out, depletion work outs only when decarbing as well as cardio, some guys like to do cardio the morning of the show)

the last week can make or break u,this is where its best to go to someone who knows what they are doing.

thanks for the input Stu and DJ.

His actual cycle, PCT not included, will be finished about 10-13 weeks out from the comp. Would a better idea be to postpone his cycle till next month, then the longer esters will be stopped 6-9 weeks out from his comp? in this gap he could run some form of contest prep to drop fat and harden up, and run PCT after the comp. Or would this then leave his PCT till too late?

Sorry i am being insanely confusing here.

he needs to have an actual date to work back from, and also he will only really need 16 weeks to prep for the show unless he is vastly over weight.

no he is in great shape. He just competed in a show. Naturally though.

Ok the show is about 23 weeks out. So call it end of March beginning of April.

Would you advise stopping the cycle now and running it at a stage closer to the comp?
