pre-contest cycle advise? was created by canfly
hi, i am 24years old, 178cm and 90kg. i do bodybuilding and have competed before in 2007. i plan to be about 92kg and 10-12% bodyfat when i start dieting for this years competitions. i would like to know when to start my pre contest cycle and what should i be taking and when, that would work the best for my profile and at what dosages?

another question is after the first show what do you use then for that 2-4 weeks before the next show?

thanks

try to get hold of a coach, thats the easiest way out of your situation. Prep work for a contest is a pretty complex job, especially int terms of training, tanning, routine etc. Your coach will also be able to to sort out your cycling needs. Where are u based? I know some people in the CPT area that i can put u in touch with.

thanks man, i am comforatable with the training,
tanning and routine aspect and i have someone to
assist me when i get stuck. but as far as cycles
go i am not as comfortable so just want to learn
as much as i can before i get started this year.
different people have different views on what works
so taking all of that into account i'm hoping to get
some more informed views and assistance?

Clearly you havent researched pre contest preparation properly. There is plenty of good basic pre contest info available on many of the top sites. One mans meat is another mans poison. Stick to the basics and as you become more advanced in contst prep so you can try more complicated compounds and stacks. I have helped plenty top athletes and I learn something new every single time. Learn what works for your. The Doc always reminds us that knowledge is power. There are so many gurus out there that will tell you a million different things and you will drive yourself mad with trying to decide whats wrong and whats right. The best approach is always the most basic. Learn how you react to different compounds and combinations. NB! and keep strict record of each day of your contest prep for that entire period it just makes the following years dialing in so much easier.

Your coach will help you out with that stuff too. Check out who the other guys in your weight class are using.
