I'm trying to construct a diet for lean mass gains
Would love some imput on how I can tweak this...

MEAL 1:
1 Egg
5 Egg whites
1/2 cup oats
150G fish

MEAL 2:
1 serving whey with 250 ml milk

MEAL 3:
2 tins Tuna
1 cup veg
1/2 cup bulgar wheat

MEAL 4: PRE WORK OUT
1 serving whey with 250ml water

MEAL 5:
2 cups of veg
250 G chicken breast

MEAL 6:
120 G Beef/chic/fish
2 Eggs
4 egg whites

In terms of macro nutrients - it works out to about 50% protein, 20% carbs and 30% fats

Your meal 4 pre work out,have a cup of oat here,you want carbs pre work out, have your whey post work out with some simple carbs such as dextrose or vitargo, in meal 5 add in a cup of white rice to this chicken meal, you want to keep a lot of your carb pre and post work out,post workout being a combination of simple carbs immediately post work out and complex carbs an hour after that with solid protein source with low fats around these meals.

Is that not a lot of extra carbs? - + 1 cup rice, + dextrose + more oats or will that be fine?

Could I not just shift the oats from meal one to pre work out and shift the bulgar wheat / rice in meal 3 to meal 5? - this way it would keep the calories similar and the macro ratio the same

You need carbs to grow,you diet seems low in calories to start, carbs fuel yor work outs and help with recovery by replenishing glycogen stores from the insulin spike high gi carbs create, combine this wih fast acting proteins such as bcaas or whey protein you create a perfect anabolic environment.

Move 150g fish to meal 2 and add in more egg whites in there if you can or a small serving of whey. You can add the meal 2's whey to meal 4 pre work if you want to , but no milk. The rest as DJ said, so you will have 7 meals now (2 pre/post). Post again when you are done

Whats your weight jackE?

I would change up your macros to 30/40/30 (P/C/F).

Lean bulk calories shouldbe about 300-500 above maintenance.
