WHEAT - why its a NO NO: Grains contain Phytic Acid, a mineral blocker that prevents absorption of calcium, magnesium, iron, copper and zinc. Evidence shows that sprouting increases the content of many important vitamins, and breaks down the phytic acid. Unfortunately, grains today are not sprouted and are consumed in much larger quantities than ever before. The presence of the phytates blocks the absorption of calcium, a risk factor for osteoporosis and other bone-related problems. It contains amylopectin A, which is more efficiently converted to blood sugar than just about any other carbohydrate, including table sugar. In fact, two slices of whole wheat bread increase blood sugar to a higher level than a candy bar does. wellnessmama.com/575/how-grains-are-killing-you-slowly/

Confirms what i expected, bread is from the devil

Funny enough, a sports dietician once told me that when you consume bread it basically turns into sugar in your stomach (or at least the same effect)

Honey oat bread. Much less wheat. :p

Buy yes, wheat is a confusing one. Wholegrain is supposed to be low gi, which is good. Yet, wholewheat isn't good?? I dunno the answer anymore. DJ maybe knows.

Dj does accually sometimes use wholewheat bread in his diet. Its currently part of mine aswell. If I'm not mistaken I read that koe was also eating wholewheat bread at some point. It comes down to how your body responds to it aswell, some people bloat when eating bread and I'd say then you should avoid it. It does form part of a diet for some, with good results but if it doesn't agree with you then you can stay away from it. No harm in trying it and monitering your results

the only place were 'success' comes before 'work' is in the dictionary
