How much of each macro can you eat per meal?

hi guys


this question is for all the smart okes with the knowledge no offence to the rest ;)


How much Protein,carbs and fats can one eat in a single sitting without it being a waste?

i know it will depend on the size of the person so lets work with a guy 100kg @ 12%bf.

Obviously its not a cookie cutter thing but just more or less a indication would be nice.

88kgs * 2.2 x 1.5g - 2.0g of protein / 6-7 meals will give u the answer for protein,some guys say u can only assimalate 30g of protein per meal,that's all crap,I mean there were seminaars with milos where he says for normal person for normal healthy functioning he recons 1g of protein per LB,that's for organ regeneration,skin care, nails and hair growth, and because we are weight training u need to build and repair muscle so an additional 0.5 - 1.0g of protein per LB... The carbs and fats is all relative to your body type,metabolism etc, like I know for me personally that I keep my fats at about 15g-20g a meal and carbs at 40g a meal across 4 meals,and that's what my body can handle per meal. Yet koe can now handle 50-60g of carbs per meal with an additional 15-30g of fat aswell per meal across 6-7 meals. So its all body specific.

So this would basicly be a trail and error thing? Seeing what your body can handle without putting on fat with a steady weight gain?

Edit. Or ill rather say muscle gain, maintanance or whatever your goal is.

the only place were 'success' comes before 'work' is in the dictionary

Ok no the question arises how do you fit in 500g of let say carbs into your diet when your nody can only handle 50 per meal?

in and around your work out times,if your body can only handle +/- 50g at a time then u shouldnt be taking in 500g of carbs though unless u are trying to get as big as possible loading up on the calories....

What do you say about intermittent fasting where guys fast 16 hours a day, get all their meals in 8 hours where protein is 100g+ in one sitting and then get ripped to shreds with minimal muscle loss?

I was extremely sceptical as it goes against everything I've learned about dieting but it seems to be working really well for many guys who are in excellent shape. Very confusing.

some guys it works well with, some guys they get fat,its all about your body i guess.. i dont like the IM way of dieting,but thats just my personal opinion
