You can do any diet you want on IF just so long as you only get your calories in during that 8 hour window.

Thats almost what i do and i cycle carbs. IF with keto. On workout days i eat my healthy carbs and about 10% above maintenance calories and on non workout days i eat keto style protein and fats and about 20-30% below maintenance calories or i will incorporate a 36 hour fast.

in my 6th week. had flu for one week and was on idle mode for another, but ive lost about 5-6 kgs so far. I weigh myself 4 days ago after a 36 hour fast and it was 87.5kg (starting weight at 93.5). I ate carbs for 2 days and went from 87.5 to 89.5 (probably clycogen and water from the carbs) and after cardio this morning i was 89. so hopefully ive lost at least 4kg of fat.

If i weigh 93 with full glycogen and water stores and i assume that it was full after those 2 days of carbs @ 89kg. I did technically lose 4kg's right? but does the glycogen and water mass count towards my lean mass? cause that means that i basically lose 2-3kg of lean mass within about 3 days of dieting !

If your lean mass is 80kg you will store about 1.2kg of glycogen. Water imo is not lean mass.

A random Googled source pins it at 2.7 gram water per gram of glycogen. That makes sense now. Say i store 1 kg of glycogen and times that by 2.7, that is basically the amount of weight i lose within 3 days of low carb (The 1kg of glyco and the water that goes with it.)

Okay so 1.2kg of glycogen x 2.7kg water = 3.24kg of weight loss megusta.

Haha just trying to help bro, not trying to prove you wrong or trying to be smart if thats what your thinking lol.

What I meant is if you lost 4kgs, then 3.24kg is glycogen and water, while the rest is lean mass(76g) I could be horribly wrong though

look at this

im gonna round to make it easier.

Went from 93 > 87 = 6kg
if 3kg is water and glycogen i only lost 3 kg
to verify that: i ate carbs and went from 87 > 90 = 3kg* (assuming i filled my glyco and water stores)
and from 93 (start weight) > 90 (weight after carb up) = 3 kg

so i can assume that i lost 3kg in 6 weeks. That's about 500g a week. Hoping i didn't lose muscle.

* I don't think the 3kg i gained after the 2 day carb up is fat? 3kgs of fat in 2 days is insane!
