Hey guys!

The other day I listened to 5fm and people were phoning in and sharing their weird/quick fix/crash diets that they have done. A few of them really sounded insane. I thought I would create a thread where you could share the weirdest quick fix diets you have done or hear of.

One of those with great success in a short period was a guy who ate a tin of tune and some cucumber for breakfast, lunch and supper for 14 days. He said he lost 18kg's in those two weeks.

Others ate cotton, apparently it suppressed their appetite so they don't get hungry. Others ate some parasites eggs, then the eggs would hatch and the parasites ate the food in their stomach but it's also unhealthy. Another lady went to a clinic where they gave her some sort of injection that made her body think she was pregnant which apparently also made her burn extra calories.

Another diet I found online where some claim to lose 24lb's in 7 days was a diet called the GM diet, here's a link: www.iimahd.ernet.in/~jajoo/gmdiet.html

Obviously these diets aren't meant for bodybuilders cause i think you will lose a ton of muscle on them. What just bothers me is - how many of these kg's lost in this short time is really fat, and what is water/muscle etc?

If it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you
