Stanabolic wrote: I personally like it as I don't have much on an appetite in the mornings so I prefer to break fast much later than most. It also helps me not to overdo my calories for the day. IF isn't a diet though its just an eating schedule that you can use for any diet. I have been cutting with the IF and a low carb diet and so far I love it. I'm down 13kgs and my energy in the gym is great and I train completely fasted. At the end of the day it still comes down to calories in and out but there are some nice benefits to the fasting. You can read up on all of that on the leangains site. Its not for everyone...

Stanabolic wrote: Yea and maybe you perform better in the gym in the morning. I'm stronger in the morning on an empty stomach than in the evening with 85% of the days calories already consumed. I've tried getting in a shake or food before gym in the mornings and my performance sucked. For me I'll probably stick with the IF approach until it is no longer convenient.
EDIT: Today was my last day on test but I've been doing IF on cycle now for 5 or 6 weeks and I've held onto strength and size just fine on pretty low calories. I don't see why I wouldn't be able to make gains if I could manage to get into a calorie surplus.

I personally love IF and the various ways of doing it (warrior, 24, 16/8, CBL).
I'm about to go into my 21st week of IF and im stronger and leaner than ever. Still eating about 3500-4000 calories per day.
