Vegetables was created by Pyroclasm
I feel like I am eatting every moment of every day and if I'm not eating then I'm preparing food. I just don't see how I am going to get even close to my daily caloric needs as well as add another portion or two of vegetables. If I use a multivit every morning and every evening as well as many other supplements, how important is it to eat veggies? Personally I can't remember the last time I ate a broccoli- and I still drop the kids off at the beach atleast twice a day if you know what I mean. ;)

For metabolic drive and colon health and nutrients yes they are, they are full of insoluble fiber which the body tries to digest the whole time its in the system meaning you actually are burning more calories by eating veg,end of story, not to mention the good effects it has on giving your body the right nutrients and keeping the colon healthy.

The fiber, anti oxidants, vitamins and minerals are important...

There are lots of ways to make them taste better bro, try the weigh-less sauces - almost no carbs, like 5g and no fat...Taste great over broccoli

OR

Take a few veggies, onion, shrooms, cabbage etc snd make a chicken stir fry with weigh less sauce...

Ill post some more ideas if you want me too, just a thought...

Lets go!

hahaha try the chees sauce or try normal sauces(not weighless).

Okay uhm...

Slice a butternut in half and take out the pips.
Cook spinach and mix with white sauce.
Fill the butternut with the spinach and grill in oven :P

Mix peas with your rice and mince/chicken/steak OR just mix in some mixed veg...

Try a salad with your meals, onion, lettuce, baby spinac, basil leaves, mushrooms some almonds.

Ill post some more when I think of some here is a link for a few healthy veg recipes:
www.eatingwell.com/recipes_menus/recipe_...lide=3#leaderboardad

Oh and if your having potatoes, make some potatoe and carrot mash.

Its stil veg but if you make them look a bit better and taste a bit better they are much easier to get down...

Lets go!

You don't like broccoli? What is this madness! I eat it on its own! by the bag!
Like Gorilla said, sauce it up mate. And if you're having shakes, and you've got it in you to do it, try blending some veg in there? :)? Whey, broccoli and berries make a pretty decent shake lol, or am I nuts?

Bro multi vit is a supplement, nothing can replace good food. Thats like comparing a scoop whey with 100g chicken.

Use the multi vit to supplement, but dont rely on it - Veggies are really good for you, even dj said so...

Bro just get a big glass of water. Fill your mouth with veggies, chew and swallow down with water. I eat veggies with every whole meal I have for the day. Also hate the taste. I can finish a whole bowl of veggies in 4 spoonfuls with that method and don't taste a thing. Try it, maybe it helps

Don't mind the cooking. What bothers me is the consistent eating to get those caloies in!

I read somewhere on this forum that someone incorporated chocolate in there diet.

Is this advisable and if so, what kind of chocolate.

Any other ideas of what I can add would be appreciated

Suppose I should stop bitching and just EAT..

I don't mind eating. It doesn't even phase me anymore. For me its the cooking. I hate it now, and the smell of chicken unless I braai it.

To you it may look like I just did a push-up... But in fact, I just bench-pressed the world.

Same boat as you Chapel. cooking is so time consuming. And running out of exciting things to do with the damn chicken boobs :pinch:

Roast chicken tastes good without any added flavour to make it better too.
