As long as you know where the chickens came from it will be ok, but I'm always worried that I'm buying the dead chickens some farms sell for R2 to the townships.

but if fakida and sons are selling it halaal, then they must still be alive etc, and not dead chickens that are picked up in cages?

fakida and sons, sell different brands as well, goldi, rainbow etc. You choose your brand and pay accordingly - pretty confident in them
