good morning guys!

ok so iv gotten to a point, where im so sick of oats it scares me, i dont even want to eat breakfast because of it..

my current breakfast is as follows;

-100g oats(uncooked)
-8 egg whites OR whey
-large banana
-tea spoon of peanut butter

its +- 740 calories

curious to hear what some of you guys eat, and some substitutes for this meal..

in desperate need of a change haha, not too bothered if calories are higher, as doing a bit of a lean bulk, and my metabolism is like a race horse.

would be appreciated if you guys could throw in some input!

regards

For the carbs you can make a smoothie. Add your oats, banana, peanut butter, some whey, a little bit of low fat milk and water. Then just whizz it up and drink it. Quick, easy and delicious

Grind up the oats in a coffee grinder to make oat flour. Then there are 100s of desserts you can make! Pancakes, muffins, brownies, cake, etc.

You can even season the oats with some salt, pepper and herbs. Use it to make a crust on chicken or any other protein you like. It's just like a crumed chicken breast

I know you are tired of it, Pyro had a good tip, honestly i would change my perspective first.
this game is all about consistency, I hate eggs and oats and fish, I puke almost every morning but what has helped is changing my perspective on food, I look at it as fuel, chug it down picturing my end goal.
I recently tried this, cooked my oats, then added my whey isolate powder to the oats and mixed it up,tastes like vanilla oats yummy. Eggs boiled with 1.5l water chew swallow no other way.

I fully agree with you koe, about consistancy, and doing what has to be done, it is unfortunately the only way, as you say,

But dam, starting my day like this lately, is not enjoyable anymore, considering I don't compete or have no ambition too in the near future,

Still want to enjoy my meals, I love all my 6 other meals, but goodness, like I said, this oat story,

I am liking the sound of a smoothie tho, any thoughts of adding some fat free yoghurt aswell? ... I think I could manage that for a few months haha

Someone mentioned a "protein waffle" or something in a previous thread and it has become my daily pre-workout meal.

Break 4 eggs in a cup - Stir in some jungle oats - fry like a pancake.

If you are heavy on the oats, it comes out like a waffle and if you have too much egg its more like a flan. They both rock! Munch it down with syrup / banana / cinnamon or whatever you like

I usually make myself pankcakes every morning!

My breakfast at the moment with my macro breakdown is as follows:

130g oats
8 egg whites
3 whole eggs

Blend it up and make pancakes. Put a little sweetner in and vwahla!lol

Somedays i add in 20g peanut butter or almond butter to spread on top. The truth is, if u sticking to macros the options are pretty much endless!!

Tried it this morning, and all I can say is Thank you!! Haha, it was amazing, I used 100g of oats, and 6 whole eggs, mixed it all up, and made like small flapjack sized oat waffle things,

I wasn't sure what would taste the best, so on each one I added something new,

One had peanut butter on, another had syrup, one had honey and the 4th had a mixture of all haha, Also I added cinnamon to each.

Safe to say they all tasted great, and I was a happy camper this morning, :woohoo:

ActuallY looking forward To tomorrow haha.

So +1 for saving my mornings bud!

Gong to try out dj's waffles too when I get some of the ingredients,

You guys are picky hey ;) All these fancy breakfasts..

To you it may look like I just did a push-up... But in fact, I just bench-pressed the world.
