hi guys, iv been off training for 5 months got injured by been an idiot, anyway i was on keto and things were going good, anyway have started keto again and came across this recipe so i decided to share it with you guys, its amazing will keep u sane.

basically it consists of 4 main ingredients lean beef, cauliflower, Gouda cheese, cream, mixed herbs

spinach, egg whites, mushrooms , bacon, biltong shavings can be added.

basically you make it like a lasagne but you use the cauliflower as your pasta sheets.

i cook everything on my flat top grill no extra oil needed.

then start layering ingredient's in a pirex dish

starting from the bottom

cauliflower, mince, biltong shavings,grated Gouda ,cream, then repeat till happy, cover with cheese and bake in the oven,

all the ingredients will marry together and i promise its amazing seasoning is what u like personally.

it is a heavy meal, but here is the list of products i use and their values, so just adjust the amounts of each ingredients to suit your needs.another plus is that you can make a big batch at once and dip into it when you feeling for something tasty.

Cream per 100gr

Protein=2
Fat=37
Carbs=3

Mince per 100gr

Protein=26
Fat=12
Carbs=0

Cauliflower per 100gr

Protein=2
Fat=0.5
Carbs=4


Gouda per 100gr

Protein=24
Fat=27
Carbs=2.2

in the picture i will post later, this is everything what i used to make it and the numbers i got, all weights are of cooked food, my wife did put tomatoes on top but i don't eat them, i told her not to but u know how woman are, cant live with them and cant kill them so anyway, extras were salt , pepper and maybe 10mls of soya sauce. i will eat this at 100-120grams per serving, should get about 10-12 servings i guess.

Cauliflower=550gr

Carbs=22
Fat=2.75
Protein=11

Creamed spinach =500

Carbs=16,5
Fat=1.8
Protein=13,5


Mince beef=700gr

Carbs=0
Fat=84
Protein=182


Cheese=180gr

Carbs=4
Fat=48.6
Protein=43.2

Cream = 50gr (for spinach)

Carbs=1,5
Fat= 18,5
Protein= 1


Total protein =250,7

Total fat = 155,7

Total carbs = 43,5

How I get away with eating keto with my girl is I do the cooking and have "buffet extras" with all the carby no-go's that I can't eat but she might like. Heehee! Raw cauliflower is a great filler, also consider white radishes.
