hi all. Just want to know and find out.. i use DJs diets and prep protocol for the last week for the show. However, for the 2nd time, day or 2 after every competition i swell up... poff voete.. swollen face..and my shins are painful... and advise
DJ is bit buzy now and cannot come back to me now.

It is completely normal unfortunately. Your body needs to adjust and it will go back to normal soon. Your body is adjusting to the sodium intake and sudden big increase in carbs after depleting. This is usally worse when you stop precontest diuretics without tapering off.

Do not take diuretics now as it just delays the inevitable, unless it is so bad that it is painful. Your body must recover.

okay, if its normal then im good. I can handle pain. no worries. If the body needs to adjust i will give it time and take things bit slower in the gym not to increase pain too much for the shins.

I got this badly last year as well, took over a week for me to go back to normal.
