Have you tried the Whey Protein Isolate? I buy the SPN brand at the moment, great product, buts its F*#k expensive. I'm really keen to try this stuff. I'd appreciate a heads up before I order.

Hey Ron,

I do use BSSA yeah, and I have tried the Whey Isolate (not the flavoured one though, just too expensive). To be honest, unflavoured whey...well, as my friend put it "tastes like old bathwater". It's something I chug down with my nose closed after workouts, but if you're buying unflavoured whey, what do you expect? Recently I have been using www.basicsupplements.co.za for my whey isolate (their whey is slightly cheaper), and then BSSA for all my other supplements (creatine, dextrose, etc.).

That said, I am really happy with what I've tried of BSSA so far, although I don't use many supplements, I mainly use creatine, whey and dextrose.

Really wish I could try BSSA's chocolate whey, from what I've heard about it from the guys here on the forum it's awesome, really great tasting (quality is excellent as well), just too expensive for me.

But yeah, they're a really helpful service and have good products

Two possibilities for the unflavoured whey:

1) Buy another whey with a really strong flavour. Then mix the two together.

2) Add Cocoa and Canderel/Sweetener and I like to add some Peanut Butter too. Tastes pretty damn good.

I.m.o the chocolate whey tastes okay. Not the best I think. I do like things sweet and tasting like pudding, so if you like things tasting more neutral then you should enjoy it.

Bro, thank you for this. I totally hear you on the cost factor bud... It’s becoming a really expensive hobby these days :woohoo: That’s why I really dig this forum.. The dudes here are always willing to share what they know to help a bro out.

For me personally, I like unflavoured whey. But that’s because I can stomach almost anything, guess I’m pretty lucky in that regard. You will totally gag if you know what goes into my blender. :sick:

Love Pyro's idea to buy one flavoured and one unflavoured and mix the two. thumbs up on that.
