Hey Guys!!

Been way to long hey, i guess that is what happens when u need to prep for a wedding lol

Just a few questions, i recently got back into training and dieting again, need to get back in to shape before my wedding. So im back on a diet which i received from the Guru.
* Lean Bulk Diet*!!!! :woohoo: :woohoo:

Now my question is regarding a few food items i bought ( food is so expensive, i started buying "waste"), and i bet if you guys know how much i paid, u will prob hate me :silly:

Below are a few items i wanted to know how they would compare to the "staple set food"
Like can i use it, or cant i.

* Skinless, bonless chicken thighs to normal fillets. ( i wish i could post a pic of the thighs)

* Futurelife ceral to oats

* Jungle Oats Energy Crunch in relation to oats.

* Ready to micro veg ( spinach feta etc) to normal frozen kind

I mean the stuff was so cheap i couldnt let it pass

Thanks Guys,
KM

u can have results, or have excuses...u cant have both!!!!

chicken looks ok
futurelife depends ... if u cutting and lean bulking ..too much sugar same with energy crunch
also depends on how well u metabolize carbs .
micro veg should be the same as frozen so ok

So then if i normal use 150g fillet, would i use the same with the thighs?

Yes im cutting, trying to lose weight etc
So the furturelife is a no go then? ,
the crunch my brother will prob eat then

btw, the micro veg i spoke about, i mostly have the one with butternut, feta and spinach ( i like bought 4 tubs)

u can have results, or have excuses...u cant have both!!!!

Cut that future life. Its nice but not the best. Have some oats, almonds and greek yoghurt if you need it to taste better.

Thighs have too much fat and too little protein.

* Futurelife ceral to oats

If you are bulking yes, definately not for cutting.

* Jungle Oats Energy Crunch in relation to oats.

Lol no

* Ready to micro veg ( spinach feta etc) to normal frozen kind

These ready to micro veg are not clean food by a long shot. If you are bulking and struggle to pick up fat then maybe, otherwise no.

I mean the stuff was so cheap i couldnt let it pass

Thanks Guys,

Future life cheap? I was at the shops yesterday with my friend and he eats it, went to the aisle and the protein one was R56 and the normal bulk pack R78. Stick to oats :)

Use as a protein and fat meal and the veg as a carb with some lean steak meal ...just do the measure and weighing of your food and calories and run at a 250 to 500 deficit for cutting ?

Normal oats are cheap too? In fact, cheaper than the energy crunch stuff (if I'm not mistaken?)

Guys, just a quick note....i dont pay the full price for the food stuff

Its items thats "past it sell by date", but not past expiry date, even if they are, the chicken, steak and mince i freeze it

Thighs - R16
Futurelife - R20
Crunch - R10
Veg-R10

So thats why its called waste, and we can go buy it daily at the stores. Sometimes i will ending up scoring, but most times not coz our "retirees" take all the items, they terrible lol :silly:

cant you get chicken breasts cheaper?
jungle oats is around 20 bucks a box, and far better than future life if you're looking to keep the bulk clean

.. Do you just ask if they have waste stock? That's brilliant I thought only employees could get that.

Kinda obvious you work there. Dude for that price damn the chicken breasts to hell and just eat that! Obviously just make it as lean as possible.

Graze it son! B) When you make it in the pan, don“t add any oil to it. Once it starts cooking it will release some more fats which will be good for cooking.
