Hi Guys, new to this forum and just thought I would say Hi and maybe provide a brief intro...

Firstly, I am not new to bodybuilding and use of its related substances however very rusty as its been a few years off now after a major setback I experienced preparing for a comp (2010 IFBB GP). I have entered a few comps prior to that but nothing major. Did the IFBB KZN as well.

So after these many years of being lazy, I decided to get back into action but DAMN the willpower and discipline required is hitting me hard!! Starting with getting shredded first but will take some time or at least 3 solid months from where I see it. I am at 120kgs now and first goal weight is 105 by mid Dec 2013. So I am currently using the basic but tried and tested Clen/T3 cycle.

Nonetheless, I hope I can learn from this great forum and all assistance will be appreciated!

Cheers.

Careful with the muscle loss on T3, it doesn't discriminate between what it cuts.

Good to see you are getting back into it, just in time for the beach ;)

To you it may look like I just did a push-up... But in fact, I just bench-pressed the world.

Its legs day, legs day, gotta get down on legs day.

Thanks looking forward to the road travelled before! Don't see any comps coming soon but hey, who knows!
How would I be able to attach a picture btw? I see you can paste an image link? Is that the same?

Yes Chapel, will be careful of T3. I am still on WK1 of diet but can observe water loss already. Will be keeping those electrolytes replenished!

Welcome brother and I wish you all the best on your time here! B)

Regarding your fat loss goal, don“t you think it is a bit unrealistic to expect to lose 15kgs in 10 weeks? Granted some of that is water weight..

@Pyro - 15kg's is my stretch target and knowing my metabolism, I will probably get close to 105kg but maybe not exactly that. I generally used to run my diets very clean with very low carbs but I try my best to keep out of ketosis. My cutting phase also included very high levels of 65-75% HR intensity cardio.

@ Mike - Thanks bud, looking forward!!

@Pyro - I am not condemning Keto plans however after having tried them before, I opt not to go down that route. I have lost substantial weight in short periods of time using keto diets but I often compare it to crash dieting. During my then comp prep, I required every kilojoule of energy possible with my diet and at that stage, keto was certainly a bad option IMO. Now, I have set my diet to very low carbs however certainly above the 30gram threshold. Besides, I would only assume that I would fail at keto now after my years taken off at this sport. With the current diet as it is, I am experiencing a challenge! Sometimes wish there was a pill to control these psychological reactions :-)

@Mike - Thanks bud, looking to get lean and mean again.

Not sure how to post pics, but here is me 6.5 weeks out of comp.

That was a few years back but when I was preparing for the IFBB GP, I was much thicker and striated. Muscle maturity FTW :-)

Now my damn focus is getting at least halfway there....

I am 1.78.

I range my macro splits but generally fluctuate between 50% P, 35% C and 15% F which generally depends on my cycles and supplementation
