Thread as per pyro :P

So Im reading a few random articles on bodybuilding.com and started noticing a trend.

Where we would normally recommend a diet structure of carbs in the mornings before and after gym, they eat carbs basically with every meal.

Now I know there's probably a few members that eat carbs with every meal but generally we structure it differently.

Im bordering on keto currently and it's great, Im in the best shappe of my life!

Any thoughts on this??

I used to eat carbs with all my meals, in small portions, through the day> i was bloated all the time.

I now only eat carbs after my workout and i prefer it that way.

I have tried the carbs for breakfast, pre and post workout as well. The problem with that is that sometimes i would feel very sluggish or sleepy when gym time comes around.

I am currently doing a test on myself with this, carbs in 3 Meals in the general consensus before highest level of activity and post activity or upon waking so that energy sources can be depleted through out the day before bed. I am currently dieting on 300g of carbs on a low day and 500g on a Thursday and 2000-2500 once a week on the day I train legs. I have done a log on an excel spread sheet to track measurements and weight with photos which I will be posting up once I have completed the 6 weeks. I am using no fat burners and only a glucose disposal agent and insulin sensitivity product for this test. Cardio at 40mins a day. Let me just tell u that i think the results have been remarkable! And I split my carbs and meals in 5 meals a day. But I will wait for u guys to make the judgement for your selves. So yes u can have carbs in every meal

I also have my carbs in all my meals, I read a research somewhere that nutrient timing for an average bloke plays a minimal role in body composition. I just use nutrient timing in relation to performance. Having carbs in me before I workout is much better than zero carbs but offcourse this is just my preference.
